  • Klay Thompson has decided to sign for a lesser contract (3 year $50M) than other teams were reportedly offering, including the Los Angeles Lakers. It is reported that Klay was interested in playing with Luka in an attempt to win another NBA championship and to avoid income taxes by living in Texas. The Dallas Mavericks front office has been making tremendous moves this offseason and the roster has improved signficantly.

People saying Klay can’t play defense anymore are wrong imo. He had zero intensity because of the issues with GSW. He is gonna score 19-21 a game with us. Probably 4-5 3’s a game. This way Luka can take less 3’s and do what he does best…mid range and post up. The move was GREAT for us! I still think Nico is cooking something else up with the last 4mil we have to spend. Don’t be surprised if we move every 1st round pick we have and Maxi/Hardy at the trade deadline to grab another stud!

    Lol, the man can't talk!
I generally feel sorry for the Golden State Warriors when they play the Mavs. THAT will be must see TV!
Luka Luka Luka. I know what the Ringer was referring to. Luka is unstoppable and his own worst enemy at the same time. Clay is a player with the level of gravitas to tell Luka he's wasting his time bitching at the refs and hurting the team when he doesn't get back on defense. I can definitely see why Thompson chose Dallas.

I dunno about this. I envision Klay standing in a corner watching Luka and Kyrie play basketball until the other team forgets he exists and then he gets his open 3
