awesome trip report! Liked and subbed. Well, the staff at the lounge was so disrespectful, there was no welcoming action at all. You must have had a bad experience. I hope BA have watched this video
So nice to see you back. I'm REALLY getting used to watching news videos from you every Sunday. Please keep up the wonderful work you've been delighting is with. Thank you so much for sharing them with us. I wish you a more pleasant experience with BA next time you fly with them.
Aviation Alex We’re on the same page here. I’m from Germany (living in England) and Lufthansa’s Business class on short haul is not really better. You don’t even have lounge access if it’s a contracted lounge.
Did you eat at the lounge? If not why didn't you go earlier to the airport? When I went back to Germany I did an upgrade for Club Europe. I spent 2 hours at the lounge since I wanted to enjoy the service. For me it's waste of money paying for business class and not enjoying the lounge.
I did indeed eat at the lounge! And the food, although limited in choice, was excellent quality. I agree, without experiencing the lounge, business class is not worth the money - especially on intra-Europe flights. I spent around 1h30 in the lounge - I arrived on a connecting flight so I didn’t have the option of going any earlier. I spent as much time in the lounge as I could. :)
@@AviationAlexYT I enjoyed the experience. Especially since I had 3 Baileys at the lounge and one on board. I asked the crew if I can take the cutlery with me. And they said yes so I've got a fork, a knife and a spoon. But the legroom you can forget. Fortunately it was only 1,5 hour flight to Berlin. Next time I am going to the Aspire Lounge and book world europe and checking in at Emergency exit. It's cheaper.
I miss this life, so envious that you can finally travel! With one of my favourite planes too at that! The barking dog A320 😁 I have the flght radar app too, so accurate! Aside of the disinterested receptionist for the lounge this looks like a great experience indeed!
Yeah apparently they used to be one of the best airlines in the world... how the tables have turned. Poor management + no competition = garbage product
Next weeks video is a good one! Flying LATAM... intra-Europe! Trying out there Business Class product between Madrid and Frankfurt. You don't wanna miss it! So make sure to hit that subscribe button!
BA has a very poor relationship with its employees, especially it’s flight attendants. A lot of BA FAs therefore don’t really care about providing good service (or at least that’s the general opinion of customers). Hence I expected bad service, and I got bad service.

The lounge agent was completely uninterested, like most BA employees I have interacted with

Maybe if I fly OUT of Heathrow, BA will be better? No plans on finding out anytime soon though 😂
Enjoyed the video Alex. So refreshing to see small RUclipsrs like yourself and I creating enjoyable, well edited quality content. Keep it up!
Thanks 🙂
Nice honest video!
British Airways could do better... and they should definitely.
The problem is, they don’t see the need to, because there competition (on European flights at least) is low cost carriers. 🤷♂️

@@LeanderTravels I can imagine. Lufthansa have even less competition, because LCCs barely fly to Frankfurt and Munich!
Thanks for this trip report..👍✅
Hope you enjoyed! 🙂
Thanks for another trip Alex. Waiting for the next ones. Keep it up
Thanks for the support! :)

It was not a great experience, once I was onboard the aircraft it was actually quite horrible...
@@AviationAlexYT Ah okay, sorry! :S
Nice trip report! It's a shame about BA, I flew them years ago and loved the food (even in Economy).

Were you surprised by the service of BA? I didn't get the meaning of I was expecting this to be bad, and I wasn't let down

Try it now ! The food they are offering prisoners would refuse to eat.
So I keep hearing... 😆
@@AviationAlexYT sorry lol ! Hadn't realised I'd already commented !but I like the second one so I'll delete the first !🤣
