My boss, Jerry Jacoby in the Ajac Hawk, won the championship in 1987 in Key West. I was one of the engine builders. Keith Eckhart was the designer.

Looks great good stuff. I would like to see some of these guys come to my country where we race from one island to the next it's 115 miles of ever changing sea conditions . You can check it out CARIB GREAT RACE and let me know what you all think .
How come they cant make a water tight cockpit?
why don't the unlimited boats run turbine engines?
I know This is a late response but they used to run turbines but it’s too much money for a lot of teams so they usually don’t use them.

They can not run turbines, because they would intake too much water and stall.
Ronald Steele They used too though. Remember Aquamania Miss GEICO and miss mary mac they used turbines. But that was alittle bit ago. However i never saw them stall..
My skeeter bass boat makes them all look slow and it holds more beer and women! Yall should just sell those overpriced toys and buy a skeeter bass boat for real speed!!! Oh yeah my Skeeter bass boat stays bottom side down!!! Who is driving these things drunk teenagers?
