It's actually historically accurate that Edward got sick and then recovered and then got sick again and died. According to my research that did occur.
When this show premiered, I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but it got me hooked. All the actors are fantastic, and it's borderline creepy how the kid playing Edward looks like he walked out of the portrait. I've never seen an actor in a historical drama look so much like the original.
I liked the serie so much. The actors are very good especially Romola playing Mary Tudor. It s Mary best portrayal i ve seen till now, only historically the tension between Mary and Elizabeth started after Edward s death and Mary ascension to the the throne. I wish the season two will be fair to Mary and not show her as the bloody sadistic queen she never was.
