Chemo 2 of 12: Day 8 & 9. Styling my thinning hair, coffee out & chemo food ideas - Lymphoma WTF?!

- I’m Scott Dale, 28 from Port Talbot, South Wales & I’ve just been diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin Lymphoma. This is a diary that I’ve created to document my progress through the cancer process. “My Cancer Journey” if you like.
Thankfully, just like the last round of chemo, day 8 was the start of normality and I’ve been able to go out and about again (avoiding crowded spaces & raw food still) - I’m now back cooking meals on our plant based whole foods diet to give Will a break 😅 and it’s been lush going out for coffee.
It’s also been an experimental time for my hair 😆 - whilst the volume has been reduced massively, I still appear to have an evenly spread amount of hair, albeit drastically thinning. It’s been fun trying out styles I never thought I’d be able to have like a top knot/man bun haha!

You are inspiring me to incorporate more vegan meals in my life. Loving the hair updates too!
Thanks 😃 we’ve slowly gone from veggie to vegan over a few years and so haven’t really noticed the change. Definitely the way forward! They say the best diet for cancer is a whole foods vegan diet so that’s a welcome coincidence lol!! The hair is surprising me! Clinging on still haha
