    I have a Kobalt 1/2 inch 24v impact cordless, and its awesome!! But I do find it cumbersome due to it being big and bulky. I got this dewalt due to it being smaller, alot more compact than the Kobalt, yet powerful!! I'm glad I have it due to all these great reviews I keep seeing.

    Excellent review thanks a lot, I've had this mid range impact for a while now and I'm really happy with the power and size of it.

    330lbs of tightening torque and 600lbs of breakaway torque. This is my favorite dewalt tool because of the middle smart setting.

    I've been using dewalt 1/4 impact with a socket adapter but I might buy this now

    More than likely it's using something called PID in the software. It increases duty-cycle with load. We use this in refrigeration nowadays.

    for anyone that owns this wrench can you test and confirm if precision mode has variable speed. I have just bought one and I get variable speed in modes 1 to 3 but NOT in precision ?

    Will this impact wrench tighten a 1” shaft ball hitch nut to 250 ft lbs?

    • @SparkyChannel
      @SparkyChannel  3 года назад +1

      I don't think so. You would probably need the larger model for 250 ft lbs.

      @@SparkyChannel I wonder why it says it will tighten up to 330 ft lbs.

      Brought this for my brother for his birthday,
      Having it shipped there from Home Depot.
      Brushless tool, 4Ah battery, charger.
      Someone said this battery was crappy,
      Not octane.
      Will this set up still be decent for his home garage usage?

    I just got a used one. The anvil was missing the hog ring. Does this tool use a o-ring and the hog ring or just the hog ring?

    • @SparkyChannel
      @SparkyChannel  3 года назад +2

      Either a hog ring or a detent pin, no o-ring.

    • @r.p.m.8987
      @r.p.m.8987 3 года назад

      I have one with a detent pin so I can't verify but I believe there is an o-ring under the hog ring which keeps it from slopping around. Google dcf894 manual and look up hog ring replacement parts or RUclips replacement video

  • @JesseWright68

    Hog ring on a 1/2" driver = Failure

      Why would you say that? I'm wondering since thinking about getting the 1/2 with hog ring
