About 4 days ago I went against a Caitlyn and xerath and absolutely annihilated them. Xerath was whining saying “kalista should not be able to do that, that champion sucks.” If you play her correctly she is op. The obj control is tremendous with her. She is the only champion I play now.

Since it's a video about tips about Kalista i would like to share one of my own since it's one even some high elo players dont know about: -Kalista will attempt to attack her target again at the end of the dash, allowing the player to kite with only movement commands as long as they remain in attack range. It may not be very clear about how it works but i uploaded a video on my channel to show what that means and how you can use it(It makes kalista's passive insanely easier to use).
Although I am the main kalista, I did not know what you taught and the video was very good, a video about his R either combos or cancel was fine, I hope you continue to grow
Kalista looks so simple at first glance, like yeah, you need to micro control her movement a lot, but her skills are just a skillshot, ???, "reset on kills" and "I hope my support knows that this is, 'cause I'm not". And then she has so much cool complexity behind every single one of her spells, it's incredible. I love this champ a lot.
i've been playing league of legends for roughly a year now, adc/sup main. i've discovered kalista and started onetricking her, currently at around 140k mastery points. i was mostly curious about why you prefer to play her mid (far as i could tell) as apose to toplane/botlane or even jungle? she's not the most viable jungler, but her rend+passive makes it extremely nice to clear jungle camps after boots imo. i was just curious because i wanna pick her back up but have a horrible fear of midlane and don't know the matchups as well as botlane (playing into the same adcs over and over again made me feel bad to play kali cuz at one point my autopilot would kill them before i figured out what i was doing xD). amazing content tho, loved to see that i've discovered all the tips and tricks by just playing her a lot.
Hay man fantastic guide, especially for people like me who just started playing her. I have one question tho, i usually play mid so im not too familiar with attack move and that stuff, so when do you use attack move? For example at 4:18 u re using it on the wave and then normal autos on the ezreal. Are you using it only on the wave or you also use it on champs in some situations?
really late reply idk if you still need this info, hes just using attack move on the minions so he doesnt have to click on them directly, but you can set this to be either to attack closest to your champ or closest to your mouse, in this case he has it as closest to his mouse. he then clicks on ez just to hop towards him

Does Kalista feel good in the late game under the same conditions with enemy characters? I'm interested in starting to study her but I don't like heroes that lose their relevance at the end of the game and I think you can answer this question
You must be new to this champ haha. Kalista is probably the WORST late game ADC you can have. Her win condition is 20-25minute wins, securing dragon souls, or having a huge gold advantage and having an extra item or two on opponents. Hope that helps.
I would like to add that it depends on your team's win conditions, and your build and runes. (also probably the elo you are playing in). You don't want to let the game get to the point where most people are full build, but with good teamplay, or utilizing her pick potential, or kiting, you can still win late, at least in lower elos.
would you recommend kalista in low elo? i hover between silver and gold each season and looking to one trick a champ and dump my jinx for something new. does the effort and time put in her worth it to climb? i could easily put around 1000 games on her this season if its worth it
Do I recommend her in low elo? yes. Do I think she is a great champ? currently, no. She needs the champ to be mastered to be decent. Unfortunately there are other, easier ADCs to master that would provide more benefit to carrying games. I do think she is very fun and satisfying though. At the end of the day though, a 4 item Kalista will die to a 2 item vayne at times.
@@JustKalista yeah tell me about it, her stun lasts 3 second and she kills me in 1.5 while she is almost completeely invisible.... love how you can't even autoattack her because.. your AA is cancelled if she goes invisible at any point during windup
@@MsFearco just ban vayne or ashe and all fine. Maybe new senna with slow on q needs find it out on more games. But atm I almost never go hurricane. Titanic replace is just way better and u get more asist even u don't aim to with that bonus rwnge
He is right I don't needa repeat that . As a 800k kalista (and qiyana) main she can be very strong with a sup friend that u play some games. There is huge skills wiling and u needa kite at least good to make her okay. But she's like strong kiting 2v2 or 1v1 af vs bruiser where evry other adc (except vayne or cockmaw) would be instakilled (like an mf or cait)

All my lol Friends tell me kalista is so bad like ADC, but when they see how i play kalista they are shoked for the fucking powar of this champ. hey thank you for the tips. i wanted to comment about putting 2 points in q. for me it's nonsense. the level 1 damage is not 20 dmg, it's 20 dmg + 100% attack damage. the level 2 damage is 85 dmg + 100% attack dmg. as you can see the attack damage ratio doesn't scale. having a lv 1 ability is worth it because you get to proc the 100% attack dmg from a distance, proc another spear, jump and so on
but for double rend , we can shoot 3 or more auto , then EQ , for big double rend . Or only works 1 auto EQ ? i see a Kalista who shoot me 4 autos then EQ and she double rend me with his Q when hit me
As a 800k kalista player I must admit the last few tips are great and u wallhopchain better than me in a godlike mode. BUT u have to try presicion tree plus overgrowth/bone combined with onhit items like kraken bork (wits end of u need) Titanic qss/edgeofnight/Lorddoms/rageblade/. (deathdance if u have a yuumi) mostly I start bork getting nicer bcuz gets buffs
With old lethal titanic could activate lethal. It's nice to wave clear poke, get first strike away kiting (visible) assanies. Melt down tanks. Survive bruiser longer that point overgrowth kicks into bonus ad there at least u get 14 - 20 bonus ad and once it elethal stack u melt down even tanks with 300 armor. That is even doing more dmg than hob shieldbow early cheese build. Trust me and give it a try.
Double rend looks like it's ping specific for that extra damage. I was able to get it to work with ~50 ms by auto, dashing backwards, q + e. Without the dash added I can't get the double rend to add the extra 50 damage unfortunately.
I'm wondering how the code for this works since on using rend the stack from the Q always disappears after but only sometimes is consumed to be a double rend... how?!
@@TheCrustiCroc I think when the double rend occurs it's because there is a delay or lag in the code when it checks for rend targets when you e, and the lag time ends up thinking the rend target is two separate entities. For example, you auto and rend, it will count as one target. Now if you quickly q while the rend is up, it might be thinking there is a second target and rend them again. This lag would make sense then why double rend seems to be ping related. If you have fast enough internet, you could more easily add that extra attack in the lag time. It would also make sense that adding a movement command increases the window to double rend as the movement command is likely scripted higher than the rend command, so it prioritizes movement before rending, so it adds some more processing/lag time to the code.
I think they did that cuz the aSpear is like new ability(auto attack) and e works with it so that’s why it gets the double rend in mid-air but as you said in the video it will be like second as if you don’t make it quickly

its not really a double rend, the q in mid air is a mechanic, it lands, counts as a 2second spear when you rend.
