When Beifeng was there, I like how the support always follows up to his aggresive 1v2 plays against the enemy mid laner and Jungler. It's just high elo knowing the limit of each champion tbh.
I mean I guess, but if you were higher elo you'd know this is just basic stuff as a support. There was nothing impressive any of the supports did. Only one that played really well was the amumu flashing to get hit by galio to allow viper to not get hit.

As much as I’ve always dreamed of playing at this level the older I’ve gotten I’ve realized the amount of discipline you have to instill is absolutely insane. You cannot treat this game like it’s a game to get to this level, you have to sacrifice fun for discipline

It's sad the team got disbanded due to their management issues and the related scandals.

I want to see how Viper create advantages from 0/0/0 in lane phase. Now I get to see exactly what ability usages and right clicks are part of "outplaying" his opponents from Dobby video. if you want to watch pro player vods for laning watch jackeylove, iboy, or lwx. those 3 are absolute monsters in lane and jackeylove is notorious for being able to create advantages in lane even though he is 1v2
Remember, if you want to kill your enemy , you need to attack them first. You need to have a goal in mind to perpetuate it- most bronze and silver players fail at that stage

A lot of it is mostly understanding general mechanics of league. Knowing how the wave work. When to poke during that wave and why etc. Then after that working on micro/macro managing is the best way to adapt.
Yes most of the things shown are Viper executing basic concepts at a very high level. He's still lightyears better than most league players but it's good to know that he doesn't have some secret sauce to win. His play is just refined.

They didn't entirely work on anything else until they reached higher elo. Which even in Diamond a lot of players still don't know the fundementals funny enough.
EDG definitely had the best botlane in the tournament, that's why I put my money on them from the beginning ("ez" +20 points in pickems too), Viper is definitely on top of the ADC Proplayer Tierlist rn
I'm so glad he won Worlds, he truly is the best ADC right now from laning phase to Teamfighting. Notice how at 1:20 Viper autoattacks the minion before using his E? That's not only to jump towards the Lucian but also to reset Kalista's Rend(E) ability since it refunds the cooldown on executes. Pretty neat and by doing that he was able to use it again afterwards to chip in even more damage.

To become this good, you have to go through your 10k games of where you mess up and int. Climbing ranks isn't nearly as fun / important as becoming this good. All you really get from reaching higher ranks is longer que times, and more dodging. So you might as well int and go for these plays while it only takes 2 minutes to get into a champion select, and not 10 minutes plus, only to have someone dodge.
*Main reason I don't get close to him or any good player, I don't invest the same determination in ranked games as they do, nor do I study the game, I'm tired of ranked and stay mostly normal games, at least get gold 4 to get my skin, but every year is harder for me to even try ranked, ofc server diff is big, it doesn't feel worth enough to try hard*

cleanse isnt taken against heavy cc teams, cleanse is taken for lane when the enemy only has one significant cc spell such as leo ult, panth w, thresh q. exhaust is for when the vast majority of damage threat is their adc and not the support, think draven lucian mf. heal is better when neither of the two above apply, theyre situational spells compared to the overall usefulness of heal

As much as I’ve always dreamed of playing at this level the older I’ve gotten I’ve realized the amount of discipline you have to instill is absolutely insane. You cannot treat this game like it’s a game to get to this level, you have to sacrifice fun for discipline
