Shovelhead model Harley-Davidsons need a bit more maintenance than the bikes of today. As Mike might say, there are more components to “babysit.” This does not necessarily mean that the motorcycle will constantly be rattling apart. I just purchased a 74 FLH it has ratched top 4 speed. I can find the drain plug on the bottom. Can you tell me the location and size. What type of fluid do you recommend.
