The best part for me was when Morissette used her signature voice crack (whistle tone) to seamlessly connect a sustained high belt, back down to the middle range of her voice, right here: 9:34. That's some impressive vocal gymnastics. These are the subtle things that make Morissette's vocal approach so special. Loren is an exceptional vocalist imo, but man, Morissette is just special. Both Loren and Morisette were excellent. However, Loren is standing and singing while Morisette is sitting. Therefore, the level of difficulty is greater for Morisette Amon because sitting while singing at the same time is extremely difficult because breathing becomes much harder. To top it off Morisette is singing one of the hardest songs while sitting. However, Morisette still manages to hit all the notes effortlessly and accurately while still expressing the emotions required for the song and more. In light of this i may have to give Morisette Amon the edge. However, i think Loren Alfred was slightly better with the pronouciation of the words.
