2024 Aion Hyper HT in-depth Walkaround
The Hyper HT is an electric mid-size SUV produced by the Chinese automobile manufacturer GAC Aion, sold under its premium electric vehicle brand, Hyper. As the third model in the Aion Hyper series, it follows the Hyper SSR and Hyper GT.
The Aion Hyper HT is equipped with an electric motor that delivers an output of 250 kW (340 hp) and 430 N⋅m (320 lb-ft) of torque, enabling the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in just 5.8 seconds.
The entry-level trim of the Hyper HT features a 400-volt system with an electric motor that produces 241 hp (180 kW) and 262 lb-ft (355 Nm) of torque, driving the rear wheels and achieving a 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) acceleration time of 6.8 seconds. This model offers an electric range of 373 miles (600 km) on the Chinese test cycle, with a 10-minute charge adding 87 miles (140 km) to the range.
There are three other trim levels of the Hyper HT, all equipped with an 800-volt system. These models share the same 335 hp (250 kW) and 317 lb-ft (430 Nm) electric motor, with a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 5.8 seconds. Two of these trims can travel 416 miles (670 km) on a single charge and offer rapid charging that adds 258 miles (415 km) of range in just 15 minutes. The flagship model is equipped with LiDAR sensors and boasts a range of 479 miles (770 km), with a 10-minute charge providing an additional 280 miles (450 km) of range.
The Hyper HT features a wheelbase of 2,935 mm (115.6 in), a length of 4,935 mm (194.3 in), a width of 1,920 mm (76 in), and a height of 1,700 mm (67 in).
