Okay! I love you for two reasons. I have seen these jewelry tags but thought somehow they were already bonded to the tumblers, so I thought the steel tumblers were branded that way lol SOOOO I will definitely order the tags. #2 the coaster hack! helps a lot and I will be doing this. SO much cheaper than ordering a device that helps with this problem. Thanks again
It took me almost a year to finish my first one. Once you finish it and continue to do them you will get much faster at them. It really does become an addiction 😅
Hi there! I just getting started into blinging tumblers and came across your videos! I’m already hooked! With the jewelry tags is it better to get the regular ones or the thin ones? Thank you so much for your awesome videos!
I get the bigger ones but will be ordering the thinner when I need to reorder. The bigger tag does stick out more but isn’t really a huge deal. If you want it more flush with your stones I would go with the thin. Thanks so much for watching ❤️
@@southernblingtumblers awesome! That’s exactly what I was worried about! Your videos are amazing and very informative! Thank you so much for answering! ☺️❤️
You don’t want to epoxy your stones. It will take the sparkle right out of them. I use a rhinestone cup almost daily and it’s actually pretty easy to hold and not uncomfortable. Thanks so much for watching ❤️
If you sit straight and do it around 8 hours. I usually work on one while cups are on the turner so it takes me a few days to finish one. I believe this one took me 3 days in between orders to complete. Thanks for watching ❤️
This is gorgeous! May i ask how many packs of each size did you use/buy for this tumbler? I know you said you used ss30, 20, 16, and 12. I’ve only ever done honeycomb but this makes me want to try this method!
Thank you! For this size tumbler I buy 1 bag of SS12, SS16, and SS30. For the SS20 you should only need 1 bag but I buy 2 because that’s my favorite size to work with. Thanks so much for watching! I appreciate you!
I was wondering if the rhinestones from Amazon were good for a very sparkly tumbler? I would use the Regular Crystal one. Some say Amazon stones aren’t any good, but there actually not inexpensive either.
I used the ones from Amazon when I first started and didn’t have an issue. However, I highly recommend Diamondfire Rhinestones. She has amazing customer service and ships super fast!
Yes they are glass. I prefer the glass over the resin. Resin are great to practice with because they are more cost effective. If you’re wanting to dive right in I’d get glass. They sparkle more and the quality is better.
You don’t. If you epoxy it will take away the sparkle. If you use the correct glue or epoxy adhesive to apply your stones with then you shouldn’t have any falling off.
That’s for my merch. I sell my cups on www.kelseyscruggs.com I only offer ready to ship and no longer take custom orders. I have a few rhinestone cups left in my website.
I would definitely sand the tumbler beforehand. The glue needs something to adhere to or over time your stones can fall off. I love both glues and they are both great for rhinestones. I use fusion tack currently because I also do real Swarovski crystals. If you are only going to do rhinestones then either glue is great for that. I hope this helped ❤️
@@southernblingtumblers thank you so much! It definitely did help. 🥰 LOOOVE how yours came out! Have you ever spray painted prior to applying rhinestones? Ive noticed some do it but always wondered how the paint itself would hold up since it’s not sealed with anything like epoxy
@@peachstraw89 I’ve only done vinyl. If you would like a color underneath than you can do so and then epoxy the entire cup before you place your rhinestones. As long as you sand your epoxy before you rhinestone the process will be the same.
Do you sell these? The time and cost of the stones I cant imagine the price!!! Lol nail salons charge $5.00 to add a few Swarovski Crystal's to a fingernail
I will be opening my website back up for ready to ship rhinestone tumblers as soon as I have a few available. I mainly do rhinestones since they sell the best due to the cost difference. I will have a few Swarovski available but not many since they are super expensive.
OMG I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS CUP!

Hello I love the tumbler, so you have to sand the tumbler first or no?❤
Thank you so much for your video! I loved it. 😍 I purchased my jewel tag, it is exactly what I was looking for. 🥰
Love your tip with the coaster, clever!

I have a question. When you create the cups is it better to use resin or glass rhinestones. Thank you for the tutorial it helped❤
I’ve never personally used Resin because I prefer glass. I hear Resin stones are great from those who use them though!
this is amazing!!!!

Obsessed with this!! 😍can you use regular sand paper to prep the tumbler? 😬
Yes ma’am! I use a regular sanding block that I purchased from Walmart.

What is honeycomb?
@Marlene Rodriguez Honeycomb method is basically applying the rhinestones like you would lay brick.
Ive the same questionnn
Is that cup good to wash with the white glue?
I love this! How long would a project like this take you??
I don’t remember exactly how long this took me. If I had to guess about 8 hours.

You don’t. If you epoxy it will take away the sparkle. If you use the correct glue or epoxy adhesive to apply your stones with then you shouldn’t have any falling off.
Never mind I got my answers on your video
I did not see that you sanded the tumbler. Is it necessary to sand? Tfs
Yes you always want to properly prep your tumbler. If you don’t the glue won’t have anything to adhere to and over time your stones will fall off.
😍
Thank you ❤️
How durable are rhinestones tumblers when properly made?
I’ve had my first one for almost 3 years now. I’ve never broken a stone and it’s my main cup.
Hi where do you sell this? In your merchandise all I see is sweatshirts and t-shirts
That’s for my merch. I sell my cups on www.kelseyscruggs.com I only offer ready to ship and no longer take custom orders. I have a few rhinestone cups left in my website.
Is there a difference between the two glues you mentioned? Is there a need to sand the tumbler itself prior to starting?

Is this glue better than e6000? Please
Sorry for the late reply. I never use E6000 on tumblers as it is toxic to some individuals. You can use it on other surfaces and materials.
