@@sugarwafers9302 they're not synched to the song whatsoever, the pacing is all over the place with long ass shot of one character and suddenly 5x1s cuts of action scenes in a row, the animation is just not very good with very incohesive ideas that feels like a patchwork of a bunch of random cool looking stuff thrown out with not much intention, and i personally find the character designs to be pretty ass which makes this look so comically edgy like god how many red eyed effects can you put in a minute before you can't take it seriously anymore..just not a big fan of the OP The contrast makes it very funny to me tho

I'm reading the manga 8 years later after discovering this anime when I was a teen, while season 2 released, but stopped watching it after its adaptation became incoherent. Breaks my heart how an anime with so much potential couldn't be exactly as the piece of art the manga was, despite ironically having the best intros ever heard... The more I am listening to Asphyxia the more I am enjoying it more then Unravel, Haise just seemed a really good alternative of Kaneki as a whole too, personally I loved the anime when I was a kid I still do, maybe the manga is better but I don't understand why so many hate this anime I accept explanations I would like to see other views of this, I am so into reading the manga still.
I find it odd when I seen the opening of this opening because when Haise is standing there with the wind blowing his trench coat and his hair in literal opposite directions like what's going on with the wind current 😂😂
The melancholy and gorgeous singing in this opening with those mesmerizing dazzling scenes was Sooo beautiful and emotional.... It perfectly set the mood for the turn the story took in Tokyo Ghoul :re regardless of how it turned out later on. 3:08am 15.11.2024
