There is no doubt the credit has to go to the scientist of ISRO, but there is no denying the current government also deserves its due for funding, supporting and most importantly encouraging our scientists. There has to be a logical explanation to why in the last 9 years ISRO, HAL, DRDO and other government organisations have done wonders which we could never imagine before 2014.

How can you guys not understand this simple line? By "this India" I'm mean the progressive India, the India which is growing at a rapid rate and giving first world countries a run for their money. Visited ISRO 9 years ago as part of a college trip and had the opportunity to meet Dr. Somnath. He told us about a future project to land on the South Pole of moon. Feel so proud to actually see it happen in reality! Proud to be Indian!

I read an American space enthusiast's comment somewhere specifically mentioning the humility of ISRO's leaders and engineers because of how they were thanking everyone and not busy boasting about the successful landing. This calm confidence is what I like among Indian scientists. No fuss, no bravado, just meticulous work and focus on results. I think we also extract one of the highest "lessons learned per mission" among all space capable countries / companies.
Its not a win solely of our dear supreme leader but Today's win is collective efforts of all scientists and forefathers. One of the reason why today lakhs of people watched the live Chandrayan 3 landing mission is because of the Digitalization infrastructure that this Government has brought.. I have spent good amount of time in ISRO and can tell you that many ISRO scientists like Modi because they relate him for his work and patriotism... You can ask any Scientist from ISRO, DRDO, BAARC, etc.... People don't have any idea the amount of trust that the Government has towards these organisations is commendable... I used to get a meal at ₹5/- in 2014 at ISRO, everyday.... That's the government taking care of scientists... Besides, almost every department has separate check up and frisking.... Army ready with loaded guns at ISRO.... Literally, the scientists never worried about anything at ISRO except their work...that kind of facilities are available at ISRO ....
Akash you pointed out one important thing. Success stories like this can motivate children to think scientifically. The ISRO scientists and engineers (and all others associated with the project) have done a fabulous job to put a sense of pride (in a good way) in all of us, including the children and youth. The international recognition is like winning a super gold medal in Olympics, perhaps amplified a thousand times. This is likely to amplify the need to think scientifically (one of the most important element being to ask the right questions, and verify ones own hypothesis through experiments and logic). Apart from space explorations, I hope India's youth can be quickly motivated to also pursue other core areas like semiconductor / microelectronics, optics / lasers, nano-science and nano-technology, material sciences, etc. There is so much potential in a population that is nearly 1.5 billion !
Imagine the Indian government working just like ISRO and India becoming Vishwaguru in real. Voting for educated and brilliant candidates will surely make our dream come true.
Remember when chandrayan 2 failed, then director literally cried on PMs shoulder.... Why do you think he did like that ??? I have worked in ISRO and I know how much Government of India spends on ISRO... Each department has separate frisking and check up... Army is ready with loaded guns in ISRO campus... I read an American space enthusiast's comment somewhere specifically mentioning the humility of ISRO's leaders and engineers because of how they were thanking everyone and not busy boasting about the successful landing.
This calm confidence is what I like among Indian scientists. No fuss, no bravado, just meticulous work and focus on results.
I think we also extract one of the highest "lessons learned per mission" among all space capable countries / companies.

One of the reason why today lakhs of people watched the live Chandrayan 3 landing mission is because of the Digitalization infrastructure that this Government has brought.. I have spent good amount of time in ISRO and can tell you that many ISRO scientists like Modi because they relate him for his work and patriotism... You can ask any Scientist from ISRO, DRDO, BAARC, etc.... People don't have any idea the amount of trust that the Government has towards these organisations is commendable... I used to get a meal at ₹5/- in 2014 at ISRO, everyday.... That's the government taking care of scientists... Besides, almost every department has separate check up and frisking.... Army ready with loaded guns at ISRO.... Literally, the scientists never worried about anything at ISRO except their work...that kind of facilities are available at ISRO ....

Akash you pointed out one important thing. Success stories like this can motivate children to think scientifically. The ISRO scientists and engineers (and all others associated with the project) have done a fabulous job to put a sense of pride (in a good way) in all of us, including the children and youth. The international recognition is like winning a super gold medal in Olympics, perhaps amplified a thousand times. This is likely to amplify the need to think scientifically (one of the most important element being to ask the right questions, and verify ones own hypothesis through experiments and logic). Apart from space explorations, I hope India's youth can be quickly motivated to also pursue other core areas like semiconductor / microelectronics, optics / lasers, nano-science and nano-technology, material sciences, etc. There is so much potential in a population that is nearly 1.5 billion !
Imagine the Indian government working just like ISRO and India becoming Vishwaguru in real. Voting for educated and brilliant candidates will surely make our dream come true.

I have worked in ISRO and I know how much Government of India spends on ISRO... Each department has separate frisking and check up... Army is ready with loaded guns in ISRO campus... All these are because of Governments good rapport with ISRO like organisation.. It's same even for DRDO, BAARC, etc....
