Going a little slower to better show just how the wiring harness pops off would have helped. We were afraid of breaking it, went to find that detail elsewhere... A helpful video!
It depends on the car and the type of bulb. The brake light bulbs in most cases have 2 filaments inside them: one for when you press the brake, and a second one for when you turn on your regular lights for night time driving. The signal lights on an Altima don't illuminate when you turn on your night time lights. I guess technically if both brake and signal lights use the same sockets and bulb size, they could fit in properly.

my platic taillight cover is cracked can i just replace the cover? can it be removed from taillight or is the taillight one whole unit?
