thanks I highly appreciate for allowing me to share with you this wonderful journey on Trans Canada Highway of Canadian Prairie. I have been there so many times and had a very good times...!
Love your down to earth style. Because ingestion, excretion and fuel math are important considerations on these kind of journeys. They really are. Hard for me to explain clearly, but knowing when to stop, whether planned or unplanned, is of paramount importance. I think that, so far at least, you have addressed the need to take a break quite well. Personally prefer René's (hope I got the name right) style of finding accommodations as one goes. Kudos to you for having the flexibility to adapt on that score. The last time I did a cross-Canada trip on a motorcycle was on a (then) new FJ1200, so that'll date me to when things were not so much geared to people with apps booking accommodations months in advance. Nearly a year on and binging this beautiful trip. Well done!
Thank you for the comment! I appreciate it. René's style was different than mine, for sure. I think I wanted to plan this one a little bit more but I'm very glad to have met him along the way! Thanks for watching!
Strawberry, AZ I had a 2000 lb Elk jump front of me….literally 3 feet in front of me and in one leap got out of the way. Thank god I was doing the the 35mph speed limit. That was on unlucky, but lucky day ! Love the video and the GSA 👍
I watched all your episodes and really enjoyed it. When you'll upload episode 5? I lived in BC for 14 years and now in the states. I miss BC and especially the Rockies, the most beautiful place in North Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, I appreciate you watching! Stuff gets in the way and I'm afraid I'm behind on my editing. Makes me want to hurry to know some are waiting for the next episode! BC was incredible. Cheers.
@@benkletti4953 Haha I appreciate the impatience. I'm finishing my edit for episode 5. It's roughly 90 minutes. Sorry for the wait! I'd love to have it out in the next week or so. Cheers!
Enjoy the videos. I have an HD Ultra Limited and thinking about a GS. How do find the bike on the highway? Is the wind protection and road noise not too bad. Spoiled with the protection on a cruiser.
Hi, thanks for watching! I posted a video on my windshield install and first long ride with it, you might enjoy it. Truth is that the wind protection on the GSA is excellent. Because of the big tank and once you find your windshield setting, it's very comfortable on the highway. I do wear earbuds for long stints. The 'regular' GS might not be as good because of the smaller tank. Truth is the real trade off, compared to a cruiser, is the adaptability in mounting different luggage and you're just not getting the same sporty ride in the corners with a cruiser. Try and demo a GSA and find out for yourself! A lot of dealers are going to want to unload the 1250's now that the 1300's are out!
Hi! The deflector is on the Puig Touring windscreen. I have a video on the setup. Works well! If you meant tires, I was using the A41 the bike came with. They were fine. Comparing with a set of TKC70 now and I like those very much so far! Thanks for watching!
It's a bizzare system over here. Most city limits are 40 to 60 kmh and most highways are 100 kmh. Some provinces have a 110 kmh limit. In the cities, 10 kmh over is usually tollerated while on most highways I've driven, we seem to be able to drive 15 to 20 over. When I'm far from home, I tend to follow traffic speed and in some parts of my trip to Western Canada, people were passing me on the left, well above 130 kmh, regularly. Thanks for watching!
Love ti- you shared outstanding !OG.:))

@@benkletti4953 Hurried up just for you, Ben. Thanks for watching!😅
Looking forward to it!
Hi. Nice ride.
I'm choosing a new bike for me, and for now thinking about gs1300.
Bro clean your windshield!!! 😂 (first comment about it - there you go!)
Lol thanks man... haha
It sure is flat out West and you have some crud on your windscreen, one of the things I don't have to worry about on my bike.
Yes and yes! The crudness is about to get much worse so stay tuned!
🔥🔥🔥🔥

Is that a Puig deflector on a oem shield? What rubber did you use?

So, what’s the speed limits in canada? Like in Denmark city limit is either 40/50 kph, country roads are usually 80 kph and highway is 110/130 kph
