I started growing my hair in September 2020 and now it will be almost 3 years. My biggest advice for anyone would be to let it grow and be strong through the awkward phase. My hair is now on shoulder level and below. Now when I look in the mirror I am proud of myself that I kept it this long and will keep it growing until it reaches my butt and then will donate at least half of it but I will keep it long because I love it and like I said I am proud of my mane. This channel gave me a lot of information in early days of growing and also I love your hair ties 💪

I went from short on the top and shaved sides and back to it hitting my tailbone in two and a half years. It grows crazy fast!

Great talk. I was never able to pass the awkward stage, trying again. The donation is a great excuse, thanks for the motivation guys!

I was writing a story a few years back when my journey started. I always wrote one character after myself, and thought, huh, let's give this character shoulder length hair. Bang, a year or so later I thought why not, I'm going to be this guy in real life. Fast forward to now, having been inspired by the likes of Aragorn, Prince Caspian, and Will Turner, here I am, a proud Longhair!

Just found this channel. Wow, dudes with hair almost as long as mine! I usually keep mine in a braid so I don't have a 3 foot hair trail flying behind me when riding my Harley and having it wrap around my face 6 times when I stop!
I've grown it out to my waist a few times and cut it right down to the scalp to donate as long hair as I could for wigs for kids with cancer. It's hitting my tailbone again so probably about time to start it all over again, but for now, I am amongst your ranks long haired brothers!!!

Since 90s Grunge. Now big stretched ears. Now dreadlocks to prevent shedding.

When I got out of the Army I didn't get my hair cut. I also started a band. After the band broke up I got my hair cut again and kept it short until the quarantine.

I want to share my story because i think its really funny. In my country , men have to serve the military right after school ,and like everyone else i did too. My group of best friends serving the same time as me. We all had to cut our hair , and since the first cut I remember me and 2 of my buddies talking about how we would grow our hair when we are done. Well 14 months later the growing began. I had to move country for uni but so did they. So when I was away from them, with not that motivation on growing my hair and a very bad awkward stage , I go another buzz cut. Well a few days later I went back home, and both of them had long-ish hair, at least through the process of growing. Had a whole conversation about it , and one of my friends just said, "you can't grow your hair lets be honest, you are too much of a p^ssy to do it ". Well lads, that is all it took. I am 7 days away from my 2 years growing, and both of them have short hair now, none actually managed to grow their hair as much as me. Proud to have long hair!

I went to Japan in the 90's with long hair and swear I got treated like a famous celebrity! No lining up at clubs, restaurants, attractions, free drinks at the clubs, no cover charges, people asking for pictures everywhere, it was insane! 🤣 Every person thought I was a different actor or rock star 😂
