I had a nanny/governance. She came from Poland, but had a good education in the UK. She is still in my parents household performing different sort of tasks. I believe she became essential for my family, she knows how mama likes things, ergo she is like a confidante to her. I appreciate all what she has done for me and hope one day she will be a nanny for my children. These professions should be celebrated more for such individuals devote one's life to others.

Unfortunately, she was never able to establish a family on her own.
My grandma Gloria was a nanny for 37 years, she was a nurse before that and specialized in multiple births. She worded very hard and her home was filled with the precious faces of all the children she cared for.
Our nanny has been with us since I was in the first grade,I believe.. She's still with us now and I'm in the 10th grade now and she's more like family and her daughter as well.
Why most mom's want to do this? Well I think it's because Mother's nowadays has work to do. Some rich parents out there work together to run a business. Doesn't have a lot of time to look after their kids and hire nannies to take care of their kids I mean c'mon... It's already very common nowadays...
Unbelievable to think the nannies need a qualification to look after children and yet ‘a mother’ needs no such thing. Also the nannies get paid, mothers don’t😂😂😂
We had a part time Manny for our twins, and he was awesome! The kids adored him, at 21 they still message each other at least once a week. After he had to move overseas his sister took over. We all love them, and consider them family.
In my perspective, I feel Nannies also have to be cautious. Being around the rich also means witnessing things that may endanger your life. And let's not forget pervert employers that feel the need to sexually molest or harass the nanny. A lot is involved in being a nanny. Ov course they deserve everything they earn as payment.
Norland Nannies have a 100% employment record... Normally you're employed before you have finished the course. Mary Poppins by CL Travers was loosely based on Norland Nannies. The salary varies but can go over 6 figures plus perks. But there is no such thing as a free lunch with gagging clauses pretty standard with the charges you may have. The university is Private and the fees are pretty high as the students are vetted and this aids the selection process.
Sorry. You’ve NO idea. I’ve been a High flying Baby nanny for 30 years. Private jets,Super yachts are perks/tools of my job. I Love my jobs. I dress the ‘part’ I speak 4 languages. It’s more a ‘calling’. You need a passion and Love for infants.

@@glitchlypickle5065 No. Moms have careers and since they can’t always be home with their children, having a nanny or a babysitter, helps so their children won’t be alone or put into a daycare all day with other children and have just two or three adults watch thirty or forty kids. Women have had full time careers for a long time now, and they have always hired someone for help to take care of their kids. Nannie’s know their boundaries to not cross the line to act like the biological mom.
One must be a Norland Nanny to work for the Royal Family :) I've watched a full documentary on their school and it seems like an incredible education. Even if one didn't stay a nanny all their working years the job opportunities could be endless.
I've just watched the documentary myself- it makes it all look pretty glamorous but unfortunately I don't really like children 😂 And I'm sure there are downsides too. However I certainly wish to study somewhere like Norland College!!

@@rebeccamclaren97 Oh, I agree. Tuition anywhere can be very high. Sometimes too high I feel. And that's sad because we feel that we shouldn't have to put such a high price on good education. Especially those such as yourself who seem to really want to put in the effort. In my comment, I think I was drawing from my opinion that with online courses, hands on experience ect... It would be wonderful to go to such a school but if one can find education in so many ways in this day and age, surely one can be educated without spending years in school and without spending so much money to get a piece of paper that says "I'm educated." But it doesn't matter what I think. You're obviously a bright person with your own dreams, a good head on your shoulders and you should follow your heart
@@raea3588 oh fair enough! Its certainly amazing how accessible education is these days, even if the standard isn't always the best. I visited Zambia once and the children who lived outside the village couldn't get an education because the school was just too far away. And many girls in poorer countries still aren't permitted to attend schools, which is just tragic. So when weighing up my own options, I think I should set the bar a little lower in the knowledge that at least I've got access to the system!
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have a Norland nanny. Imagine working for a future king and queen. From what I have heard, she isn't even one of the highest paid nannies in the world but there is much more prestige.
I’m so glad you made this comment.! Everyone thinks parents who need help are lazy or not maternal.. whether it’s family or hired help EVERYONE needs help sometimes! Parents are not robots and you never know the reason why someone had to hire help! I hope your doing much better 🙏🏽🙏🏽
I went for a job interview to become the nanny to the Duchess of Gloucester’s children. The job came with so many restrictions. It turned out that at 21, I was too young for the position. That was 30 years ago!!
This is such a lie. "Cooking, cleaning, and laundry' is such a LIE! I was a chauffer for a billionaire in Beverly Hills, they were from England and they have houses ALL OVER THE WORLD. She had 4 nannies for 2 toddlers and one house maid, a house manager, and me to chauffer then around southern California. The nannies never ever lifted a finger to clean the house or do ANYTHING that did not pertain to the toddlers. The nannies bathed them, spoon fed them, slept with them, watched them, everything a mother would do EXCEPT cook for them. The housekeeper did the laundry for them, cooked for them, she even ironed their pajamas AND UNDERWEAR, washed their dishes, and shopped for them, etc. All personnel is on duty 24/7, the mother does NOTHING and the father is ABSENT 24/7, he just provided the money. In my experience anyway.
P L Travers hated the Disney adaptation of Mary Poppins soo much that she cried, and left the theater midway through the film. She said she regretted selling the rights, and that's why none of the subsequent books (yes- there are more) were optioned while she was alive.
A Norland graduated nanny with 5 years of experience makes $139k. I don’t even make $100k with a master’s degree and 10+ years of experience in my field. I better be a nanny.
You would have to find an agency that places you only with high profile families, and be prepared to give up most of your life for them!!! I'm a nanny but I work part time for many different families. As my client list grew, part time is what has worked so I am available for as many of my families as I can be!!! It's not unusual for me to have 2 - 4 different jobs in one day!!! A 9 - 5 would definitely be easier, but I really do love my kiddos!!! I also am registered with an agency, but haven't been able to get a job through them as my other jobs are taking up all my time!!! I'm kinda popular with the local moms. Lol.
My late grandma had a nanny when she was young. During that era and in Asia, nannies take a vow of celibacy and serve the family until they are old, where either the family will take care of them, or the nanny herself decides to return to her hometown. Back then there was much loyalty. My grandma’s nanny followed them through WW2, even though during those years there was no salary. Unfortunately she passed away during the WW2 due to bad living conditions. My late grandma told me this story years back, can’t remember the full details but that was the gist of it lol
How horrible to sign away your life to your employer like that, just to end up dying due to bad living situation! Poor nanny! Thank god that kind of “loyalty” is in the past!
As a previous live in nanny to a wealthy family in England, I can say first hand my job included looking after all the children’s needs including cleaning the entire 3 floor home for the parents too! I was also invited to travel overseas for holidays with the family but this meant I was expected to work the entire time without pay.. sometimes the more wealthy the family the more they demand.. my pay was £100 cash a week and I barely ate lost 10-15kg from all the work.. not a glamorous job in my experience
What you didn’t say is some nannies like Borland nannies are taught self defence (including some martial arts) & how to safely get away from -paparazzi or a dangerous person - both on foot 🏃♀️ and in a car 🚗 with a kid who can walk & with a pushchair/buggy.
A nanny is not a slave. She is a partner with the parents. Don't let yourself be taken advantage of. Stop exploitation. Write your own contract and don't settle.
I work a corporate job and I feel stagnant. I have no children of my own, I am 50 years old. I am really considering brushing up on French, learning Spanish, taking some self defense courses, and becoming a nanny next year. Any advise or feedback is appreciated!
Go for it, I just had a daughter. I wish I would've known this was a viable job today, I would so do it. I can't now, since I am going to get married, and all, and I don't want to neglect my child. I so would've done this for the past 10 years, if I'd would of known.
I had a French friend who was a Nanny for a little girl in England after the Mom died from cancer. The Father had a good job which transferred him to Manhattan, NYC. The Nanny was a live-in as she had more responsibility due to the loss of the Mom. They lived in Westchester County, NY and commuted by train to Manhattan. I took a trip and stayed with my friend and the Father and his daughter. It was interesting seeing the dynamics and care and responsibility. We took the daughter with us into Manhattan during the week. That trip was especially nice because it was my first time to NY and got to see not only my friend, but also stayed with a British family in beautiful Westchester County.
Ma- Ka-Ton was started by 3 therapist ~ Margaret, Katherine and Tony in the UK. It combines different ways of communicating. I personally did not like it as to me it is all over the place. There are hand signs, PECS (Picture Exchange Card Symbols) with pictures and words combined. It is a bit annoying using it. This is because if you child can't hear and or speak, they can learn the starting point of 25 signs, but after they have mastered that, you change them over to full BSL or ASL where we were in London. Then there are two sign languages to chose from. BSL ~ British Sign Language or American Sign Language. When we were moving back to Canada, from the UK they wanted to teach our sons MAKATON but we refused and taught them ASL ~ the chosen language in Canada & the USA. I know one Mom said her Downs Syndrome son started to speak verbally and after learning sign language, he stopped talking and using signs only. Both our sons now can verbally speak as the ASL or BSL sign language is a building skill on only one level. That is my personal experience. One of our sons still signs a bit as his verbal skills are not as strong. Getting into Norland is very tough to even get accepted ~ they have moved to Bath, UK. Good Luck to all.

The children are always amazing and so comforting to work with. Yes it can be isolating but most nannies have friends oitside the job and don't mind being alone sometimes. We travel and meet lots of people too.
I was a nanny in London from 1980-1981. They were wonderful times as I lived in a fabulous house in the best suburb. Princess Di and Charles had got together and I recall seeing Diana in the local corner shop just prior to the engagement. I am still in touch with the family all these years later.

My cousin’s family is very rich and they had a live in nanny. It was weird because when I visited them I think the parents were on holiday but yet the nanny was still doing everything for the kids. I barely saw their dad while I was there because he was always relaxing and doing his own thing in another part of the house. It was very weird for me because my family is middle class and having a nanny seems like such a foreign thing but someone I am closely related to had one. They are very rich though and I am very jealous.
@@rachelcookie321 Hi Rachel, i meant it as a compliment. You showed your vulnerability. I admire that. Your narrative hinted at it and you admitted it explicitly also. One thing i like to remind myself of when I FEEL like this is to be grateful for what God has done for me... And to try never to compare myself with others. I compare my achievements per time using God's word as standard. You know, what we feel is totally different from what emanates from our hearts, particularly if our hearts are renewed by God's word of grace. ( I am a Christian). That makes me rejoice with others when they rejoice, mourn with them when they mourn and find peace that my future is going to be very bright. God bless you for sharing your experience. I really admire your truthful admission.
Is it odd: the video used to highlight "good nannies"- included clips from the movie (the perfect nanny-2019- crime/drama) where the nanny abused the kids and ended their young life early? The parents were to blame too. It's a message in everything. God bless the little ones, please.

It is crazy that in England schools for nannies required uniforms. It reminds me of class systems in which you want to separate rich from poor by any means.
Generally, the costs for uniforms here are astonishing. In my area, anyway. Let's just say that the schools will advertise them as cheap and affordable for everyone, but then I'll see a blazer being sold for £40 in a deprived coastal town. Then add on the tie, the skirt and the pe shirts, skorts, shorts, jacket, rugby top and I honestly don't know how some of us pay for it.
This nanny went to Norland College, basically the prestigious school for nannies. Also, as an Australian, most of our schools require uniforms public/government school or not.
For those in England you can get a student loan which you never have to pay back unless you earn over a certain amount - currently going to be about £21,000 for the cost of fees and rent (courtesy of British tax payers)
I've always had a maid growing up, but they would mostly just help to keep to house in order, the only nanny I actually had was as a baby/toddler, I don't remember her obv, but my mom told me she was a polish lady and that she was better for me than me going to pre k
I was also a nanny since I was grade five(12 yrs old) till I graduated university (26 yrs old). I liked it too especially taking care of babies. Way less stressful than being a teacher. I just didn't like the treatment of being a servant with very low compensation as I was not working with rich families. They're all just middle class and I was hopping from one family to another till I finish studies. I think worked with roughly 12 fams in all.
@@babycakes8434 I was raised by a Nanny who graduated from Norland. Nannies are not 12 years old (even Au Pairs are 16), they are not "servants with very low compensation" and do not "hop from one family to another". The OP was clearly a babysitter.
@@tessdurberville711 You don't need to study in Norland to be a nanny. And yes a lot of nannies are paid low salaries, that doesn't mean that they are babysitters, it only means that they are being taken advantage of. Babysitter is staying with kids here and there, and nanny works with kids thoughout the week, and provides ongoing care. Even though she jumped from job to job, she could still be a nanny. No need to try to invalidate and gaslight her.
@@babycakes8434 At, not in, Norland. It is a college in England. Nannies are well educated and also live full time in the home and are not paid low salaries. If you are being taken advantage of, you would simply tell the agency that placed you in the home. All of my friends growing up had Nannies. My married friends now have Nannies living in their homes, helping to raise their children. I know the difference between Nannies and babysitters. Please sit down.
Can you become a nanny later in life? Could you raise your own family and then become a nanny after your children have grown up? Or do families prefer young nannies?
A lot of families hire women like that, but don't expect this level from them Where I live most families hire guyanese babysitters who are in their 40s and 50s when their youngest is in high school.
Many families absolutely LOVE older nannies who have raised their own kids!!! Especially younger mothers with their first child. They look to their nanny as a source of help and information, and love that an experienced hand is taking care of their children!!! However, older nannies are hard to come by, so many families don't get them simply because of availability.
Hang on is it a diploma or a bachelors degree which one? My sister was a private nanny and travelled all over the world. She had a great name and word of mouth made her so popular her Swedish family didn’t want to lose her when she took a 2 month break back in Aussie to see mum and the family that they kept paying her for the 2 months and flew her back in 1st class. She ended up running some child caring centres then became the person who travels around Aussie to make sure that the new day centres are safe and full of what they needed. She used to do the “ rich “ peoples house sitting. She would ask only one thing in return and that was if she could have a family members come over to stay a weekend here and there,….They didn’t care. So I got to see how the rich lived. I’m glad in to end to be back in my lovely comfy house that didn’t look sterile lol.
I don't like the idea of a nanny uniform out in public because then people know that that child is a rich person's child and it just puts a target on their back.
So you literally have to pause your own life to take care of other people’s kids just because they are rich ?? There’s a price you have to pay for everything in this life …. This is literally sacrificing your life for money 🤷🏼♀️ Well, despite my comment above, I wasn’t a nanny but I was an elderly caregiver for this white family, omg the best job I ever had, I stayed with the family rent free, food free, got a good salary, went out to eat every time in beautiful restaurants, I became so fat, had access to so much money , bought a car cash that I still use today, went to Hawaii twice, did a boob jobs, even went on a cruise with the family.. Best job I ever had for 2 years.. Even when I decided to go back to school , they family agreed to work with my schedule. I just had to move on with my life coz I wanted to get married, have my own kids and finish my schooling as a dental hygienist and I couldn’t be a leave-in caregiver anymore 🤷🏼♀️. I still keep in touch with the family today.. Best job ever I made so much money .
How are you putting your life on "pause"? It's a JOB. You get paid. People who enjoy being around children and want to enrich their life and have a career, would love a something like this. No one is, "taking care of other people's kids just because they are rich", plenty of people who work and have other people take care of their kids every day in a big variety of ways, from daycare for little kids to, a rec center for school-age kids, to baby-sitters, and having the kids stay with friends or family after school until a parent can pick them up. Plus there are trained nannies that are only hired part-time, so no, child care is not just for wealthy people. I don't see how you think that a nanny is, "sacrificing your life for money"? A nanny can be full-time and may or may not live with a family. The nanny works the hours she agrees upon with the parents or guardian. She has days off and vacation time. People CHOOSE become a nanny as a career choice. What you stated makes no sense whatsoever!
@@pat4005 Ofcourse you are putting your life on hold!! Do you think a Norland nanny has a husband and her own kids??? My guess is that a live in nanny even sacrifices friendships and hobbies

I was absolutley terrified and didnt think i could handle it but loved the babies so much!. & years later, that whole family became mine as well
I was a nanny for some of the richest families in South Africa. They had drivers, housekeepers, tutors, house managers and chefs. Parents were hands-on so when they’re home and we were staying over it would be my free time. They spent time with their kids and I was practically paid to be the older sister. The richest family had 6 nannies for 3 kids. It wasn’t really “work” we all just hung out together - even on on overseas trips they’d hire a local nanny and my hours would be regular or less hours than back home. I also had the choice to go on vacation, flown business class and get paid extra for it or have the 6 weeks off (10 weeks paid in total for the year). Rich people want companions for their kids, not parent replacements. But of course some rich families are total assholes. You just have to follow your gut.

Your average nanny/babysitter job in the US pays $15 - $25 an hour with no paid vacation days or sick days. For a high profile client who is having you sign official employment papers, your lowest hourly rate will be $30 an hour and you will then get those paid vacation and sick days if your employment agreement includes that. To work your way up to high profile clients, you often need an agency (not all agencies take a portion of your salary, some are just paid by the parents to find a nanny) and then you'll start to earn more money, but you have to be specific with the agency that you would like a higher paying job. Lot's of middle class families use agencies too, and they won't pay the high salaries. Money aside, being a babysitter/nanny is a great career for young women going through college or just starting out in their professional life!!! Many families allow you to do school work while the children are napping or watching TV, and you can have the flexibility to change your schedule as needed each semester.
I think that if there was an aid fund in the world and everyone could benefit from this fund, there would be no unhappy people in the world. Imagine how many lives would be saved if there was such a fund, if there were 100,000 members in this fund, and if the members of the foundation donated only $ 1 to this fund, if the donated money was given to the members of the fund in the form of a lottery. If we create such a fund to support each other, how many people will join us?
Nice video!! Very engaging from beginning to end. Nevertheless, businesses and investment are the easiest way to make money irrespective of which party makes it to the oval office. The 2020 Real estate investment is good but i rather invest my money in crypto
It seems like your giving up your life to be a nanny. I guess if you were 18 years old, it would be cool, but as you want a family of your own it wouldn't work out. You'd never see our own kids.
That’s what I was thinking to. The nannies are basically looking after the kids whenever they are home and awake. Whenever their kids need them they would be working and when they get home their children will be asleep. I understand people want to be a nanny because they like children but don’t they want children of their own to raise one day? Why spend your whole life raising someone else’s child when you could be raising a child of your own. Maybe if you can’t have children but really like children it would be a good job but I’m sure they can’t all be infertile.

Can I ask how old you were when you became a nanny?
Nannies are such life savers. No amount of money can cover for what they do for us. Thanks so much is all I can say! Forever grateful!
By the time you have kids she’ll be worn out from work

My grandma Gloria was a nanny for 37 years, she was a nurse before that and specialized in multiple births. She worded very hard and her home was filled with the precious faces of all the children she cared for.
Our nanny has been with us since I was in the first grade,I believe.. She's still with us now and I'm in the 10th grade now and she's more like family and her daughter as well.
That's lovely
The comments: “This work is slavery.” Also the comments: “I don’t understand why the mom doesn’t want to do this.”
Lol!!
Hello
@@miblvd431 hey there nice meeting you here!!!
Why most mom's want to do this?
Well I think it's because Mother's nowadays has work to do.
Some rich parents out there work together to run a business. Doesn't have a lot of time to look after their kids and hire nannies to take care of their kids
I mean c'mon...
That's so sweet
If the nanny has to be a bodyguard too, s/he better get paid a lot LOL

In my perspective, I feel Nannies also have to be cautious. Being around the rich also means witnessing things that may endanger your life. And let's not forget pervert employers that feel the need to sexually molest or harass the nanny.
A lot is involved in being a nanny. Ov course they deserve everything they earn as payment.
So true. Nannies beware!

I’m so sorry no parent should have to deal with loosing a child 😢
One must be a Norland Nanny to work for the Royal Family :) I've watched a full documentary on their school and it seems like an incredible education. Even if one didn't stay a nanny all their working years the job opportunities could be endless.

In my comment, I think I was drawing from my opinion that with online courses, hands on experience ect... It would be wonderful to go to such a school but if one can find education in so many ways in this day and age, surely one can be educated without spending years in school and without spending so much money to get a piece of paper that says "I'm educated."

@@raea3588 oh fair enough! Its certainly amazing how accessible education is these days, even if the standard isn't always the best. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have a Norland nanny. Imagine working for a future king and queen. From what I have heard, she isn't even one of the highest paid nannies in the world but there is much more prestige.

How sad...

Only if you work for the rich
You would have to find an agency that places you only with high profile families, and be prepared to give up most of your life for them!!! I'm a nanny but I work part time for many different families. As my client list grew, part time is what has worked so I am available for as many of my families as I can be!!! It's not unusual for me to have 2 - 4 different jobs in one day!!! A 9 - 5 would definitely be easier, but I really do love my kiddos!!!
Wow, what a loyal and utterly dedicated nanny!
Wow, that's so cool! And interesting! 😯😊
How horrible to sign away your life to your employer like that, just to end up dying due to bad living situation! Poor nanny! Thank god that kind of “loyalty” is in the past!
Just be faithful and honest. With what ever you do. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video:
I think it’s unfair the nanny has to cook and clean its more like being a maid and nanny.
The nanny does not cook or clean there is a chef and maids to clean the house
@@kimberlygriffith5757 some nannies do tho
Well if it's for the child, it's part of the job
If a nanny cooks and cleans it’s usually only cooking for the kids &/or cleaning the kids room NOT cooking for parents or cleaning the whole house.

They are very much qualified to care for kids, you probably couldn't hire a better qualified nanny for your children.
I hit pause after "College takes percent of annual pay." What? How do you figure you owe your college after graduating 🎓
Not the 'college the agency''that'sends them to the job
I think it’s the agency that’s a part of the college. Just like how actors have to pay their agents a percentage for finding them jobs.
The college is also their agency.
This nanny graduated from Norland College, it educates them then acts as their agency when they graduate.
I believe being a nanny is a great job, providing care for one or multiple children and helping with their early years of education.
A nanny is not a slave. She is a partner with the parents. Don't let yourself be taken advantage of. Stop exploitation. Write your own contract and don't settle.
Tell that to Lebanon, Saudi, and rich Asians
Most super rich parents want a nanny with a degree and to know several languages. The parents often expect very long hours.
Given the you live in the house with them, the job is 24/7
A sad fact: A lot of nannies and maids get abused in their work.

Hello MononaNona, How’re you doing?
Nice that you had a great experience. My last nanny job was in Westchester County.
And later the kids don't know the meaning of love of a mother or father.

Those Norland Uniforms are a simbol of prestige.
Private schools required uniforms. It's just more professional.
The class system is alive and well everywhere in the world now, and England is def no exception
This nanny went to Norland College, basically the prestigious school for nannies.
Also, as an Australian, most of our schools require uniforms public/government school or not.

I don't exactly use the word Manny but I have always dreamed of being a nanny. Children are our future and I love them.

I was also a nanny since I was grade five(12 yrs old) till I graduated university (26 yrs old). I liked it too especially taking care of babies. Way less stressful than being a teacher. @@tessdurberville711 You don't need to study in Norland to be a nanny.

By the way a nanny and au pair are different things. I am presently looking for a nanny, but it is difficult to find in the Seattle area.
I'm available if you're still in search for one
I don't like the idea of a nanny uniform out in public because then people know that that child is a rich person's child and it just puts a target on their back.
I think those are just their school uniforms. They wear normal clothes to work.
Hello Maureen, How’re you doing
So you literally have to pause your own life to take care of other people’s kids just because they are rich ?? There’s a price you have to pay for everything in this life …. This is literally sacrificing your life for money 🤷🏼♀️
Well, despite my comment above, I wasn’t a nanny but I was an elderly caregiver for this white family, omg the best job I ever had, I stayed with the family rent free, food free, got a good salary, went out to eat every time in beautiful restaurants, I became so fat, had access to so much money , bought a car cash that I still use today, went to Hawaii twice, did a boob jobs, even went on a cruise with the family..
A nanny I just a career .
So... are you for or against nannies?

I grew up with Nannie’s and honestly I feel like parents should take more care of their kids I was sa’ed by one of my Nannie’s
I would absolutely hire one if I should get kids one day..
You must be rich if you can afford to hire a nanny
Why have children if you are going to have someone else raide them? I could not imagine being so over worked that when they are sick I am not there.I could not imagine not at least taking them to their first day of school.
Get it right !! A trained nanny with a certificate only looks after the children. Its a MOTHERS HELP untrained who will be expected to look after the children do housework ,shopping etc.
If you love any kids this is the perfect job
So what exactly parents do?
The parents just pay the nannies .
Good question,, I guess they do volunteer work ...
Interesting, I love this👌
My FIRST nanny job was supposed to be 2 kids, 3 and 7 but the mums sisters nany was unsuitable and had to leave early. They asked me to go tot her instead. With 3 6 months old babies!!
Wow, this is interesting!
Let me manifest that real quick ✨
Or a shorter way to say it is being a nanny is basically being a parent to the child even tho you aren’t their parent.. only thing is your not the one paying for all the things the kid needs and wants
Exactly. And you have to do things the way the parents prefer, even if it doesn’t seem best to you. Interesting dynamic.
It's a wonderful vocation..the parents are often more of a problem than the children..
In 2019-2021 nannies are pay $25-50 per/ hour or 50-130k a year plus benefits and bonuses in the DMV /USA
DMV?
summary: A mom you can buy
The first mom I nannied for flat out told me that. “I pretty much need you to be my stay at home mom.”
Thank you
I could never but I would love a part time nanny.
If I didnt have a significant other and a blooming life of my own (blooming as in, just starting, not the swearword) I would go for this
Why do women even bother birthing a child if the nanny is just gonna be the parent!!
Just curious to know , have you got kids of your own?
@@olubukolamaxwell I actually do. And I raise him myself, because I gave birth to him. He's my PRIORITY, MY CHILD
@@Lukeyluluyt what about your husband?. You cant raise a child on your own you know.
Lol my parents hired a nanny for me and my 3 siblings. She was so lazy she tried to force me to get the bus on my own to school when i was 5 years old! She was fuming when i said how scared i was and refused . My parents dismissed her in the end as she only cared about the money.
I wouldn't leave my own kids to go work 60 + hours a week raising somebody else's kids. Fuck the money!
Wouldn’t the kids be sad too? Their mum is never around because she’s busy caring for someone else’s kids instead of her own.
I was a nanny loved the children dearly but the parents were verbally abusive to me treated me like dirt I never took another nanny position again.
I'm sorry that happened. I would have left that job immediately and found a loving and caring family to work for!!!
Nice video
I'm glad this video is back but what happened to it orginally?🤔
Me too
Nice video!! Very engaging from beginning to end. Nevertheless, businesses and investment are the easiest way to make money irrespective of which party makes it to the oval office.
The 2020 Real estate investment is good but i rather invest my money in crypto
Investing in cryptocurrency is one of the best chance of making money 💸
Stocks are good crypto is better
I wanted to trade crypto but got confused by the fluctuations in price
That won't bother you if you trade with a professional like millions money investment platform
Im a nanny and this is so cool wow
Why even have kids if you don't want to be in their lives? wtf?
It seems like your giving up your life to be a nanny. I guess if you were 18 years old, it would be cool, but as you want a family of your own it wouldn't work out. You'd never see our own kids.
Ikr
That’s what I was thinking to. The nannies are basically looking after the kids whenever they are home and awake. Whenever their kids need them they would be working and when they get home their children will be asleep. I understand people want to be a nanny because they like children but don’t they want children of their own to raise one day? Why spend your whole life raising someone else’s child when you could be raising a child of your own. Maybe if you can’t have children but really like children it would be a good job but I’m sure they can’t all be infertile.
