Love me some Cheap Trick. I've seen them around 7 times. Last show was in 2021, and wasn't their best. Robin and Rick seemed a bit grumpy, and Tom was out with heart surgery. Robin Taylor (who played bass and sung a song or two) saved the show...he had more energy than the all the others combined, and seemed like he enjoyed playing that night. I think they actually played less than 90 mins. I guess everyone is entitled to an "off night". I'd see them again in a heartbeat.
@@heyjt6409 yeah. Tom Petersen always plays a 12 string bass. I was talking about the 3rd guitarist on the far right. Apparently it’s Robin’s son, Taylor. This question was answered a few days ago.
Now that is the hardest working American band--and mostly Midwesterners! Thanks for posting this video.
They shaped my teenage years. Love Cheap Trick❤🤘 #icons

Who is the 3rd guitarist... and why???
It's Robin's son Taylor Zander. He's been playing with them for about 3 years now.
2nd guitar is playing rhythm and the guy I'm yellow hat is playing an 8 or 12 string bass 😊

They blew Journey off the state in Seattle. Edged out Def Leppard too.
