- A lot of you tell me you'd like to try dessert recipes but don't have access to an oven or microwave. This recipe is for you! I make this chocolate cake without eggs, without condensed milk in a pan on the stove. The texture of this cake is incredibly soft and light. EGGLESS NO OVEN CHOCOLATE CAKE
INGREDIENTS
1 + ½ cups maida (all purpose flour)- 180g
¾ cups cocoa powder- 75g
½ tsp baking soda -3g
1 tsp baking powder- 4g
¾ cup vegetable oil- 180mL
1 + ½ cups castor sugar -300g
1 cup Greek yogurt ( or curd hung over night)- 285g
½ tsp vanilla extract- 2.5mL (optional)
½ cup milk + 1 tsp white vinegar (optional) , mixed and rested for 5 minutes -120mL + 5mL
Forgot to add- keep checking on the water- If it dries up completely, keep refining it!
Bake With Shivesh can we replace maida with with whole wheat flour or any other grain flour for that matter?
Can we skip baking soda
Can we skip baking powder??

I have baked in a pan by keeping it on a dum on a tava on medium heat. Works well that way too! Turned out equally soft

For how much time u cooked??after initial 5 min
@@kratikasingh6315 it took me a lot of time honestly. Plus the water keeps evaporating. Do I had to fill it and keep an eye on that. Keep it on the first hear for 10 mins at least. That's what I did.

Sure,Saloni Tiwari! Baked it for 90 mins on low flame in the cooker. Placed my cake tin on a wire rack.

Hey Shivesh, i tried this recipe today. No doubt the taste was amazing but,
it was very crumbly and i wasn't able to cut the top crust at first, but after putting some pressure I managed to cut but the sides kept on falling.
Also, this recipe is for 2 pounds, can you share some simple recipe of 1pound chocolate and vanilla cake without butter and condensed milk and in microwave at convection mode?
I will be highly obliged if you do so.

Hi Shivesh!! The cake was burnt a little. But it still was so tasty!! When it got burnt I thought I’d never bake again but when I tasted it... I changed my mind. It was fluffy and delicious. So I’m going to make it again.. soon. I had a question though, can I skip coca powder (because I’m out of it ) and instead add bournvita or nothing at all?
