A huge money saver in my grocery budget is to make our own laundry soap 🙂 I make 5 gallons for a few bucks and it lasts over a year for my family of (almost) 5. I just refill an old detergent bottle. And then we use dryer balls in the dryer, so I don’t buy dryer sheets either. But no matter how frugal we are, these grocery prices are difficult! Good luck to you! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
I’ve made some homemade laundry recipes and I just never liked how it cleaned the clothes! 😪 I also don’t use dryer sheets! ♥️ You are right these prices are rough!

The frozen garlic cubes are worth it. I do the same with roasted garlic for a more mellow flavor as well.

That jar of garlic will stay fresh forever. Use the fresh first and store the jar in your pantry until you use up the other.

Homeschool mom here and your grocery haul could have totally been mine (except I use chosen food mayo)- the majority being organic, simple mills crackers, but throw some pizza, spam and aldi cereal in there. I'd eat organic cheese, also but can barely afford what we do choose to eat. (Has to be aldi's because I avoid food dyes). I am also trying to eat veggies with my breakfast but don't have many ideas, unfortunately!
The stuffing is so good I bought 6 boxes of it
Me again:) I buy a 5 pound brick of Colby cheese from azure to shred up and freeze

If you want good money saving ideas on groceries, Tawra on Living on a Dime to Grow Rich has a lot of good ideas. I just say that since you said the money disappears. Aldi mayonnaise is good and I'm sure less expensive than brand name. I just don't buy dried mangoes anymore.
Thank you! There are some things we’re brand loyal to - and my husband is very loyal to name brand Mayo. 😝 We also don’t buy a lot of packaged snacks and dried mangos are great for the car.
Aldi has great prices ...its hard to keep food on a budget because these prices keep going up and up😮😮😮

If one of your freezers is full, have u considered saving some money for a month and doing a pantry challenge? Not throwing shade, just trying to suggest a money saving tactic. THREE RIVERS HOMESTEAD on YT is having a pantry challenge that a bunch of YTers are participating in. This is my 1st time bc my freezers and pantry are also full. I'm hoping to reduce my grocery budget by 80% this month+😊
We have 2 large deep freezers. Only one is currently full of beef + other meat. :) she was putting stuff into my fridge freezer ;-) which is small! I do pantry freezer challenges frequently through the year. ♥️ I appreciate the suggestion!

New to your channel 🖐🏻it can’t be easy trying to juggle and feed so many mouths so hats off to you..I was skimming your channel to see if your on food stamps and WIC? There is many ways to stretch your money like making many of your own products and groceries which is what I learned to do many years ago to help feed 5-males and myself. If interested in making your own groceries and cleaning products let me know..
My husband makes too much money for either of those programs! Even with our family size. We used WIC for a little while last year - but when my husband got a raise we didn’t get it any longer. It helped with our produce budget 😢
We’re very fortunate that if we need to use more money for food, we are able to. We just like to try to stick to a budget. We cook majority of our foods from scratch - and we use norwex/melaleuca for cleaning products which are very budget friendly. ♥️ I appreciate your offer!
@@FromHisBountifulBlessings ~Thanks for the answers..You are very lucky you have the wiggle room in your budget that’s for sure..My all purpose cleaner will cost you literally Pennie’s all it is is citrus peel infused in vinegar..I can assure you it’s better then any store bought product you can buy ..but since you aren’t on a budget I guess that doenst really matter..lol..

Raw milk makes me nervous. There is bacteria in it that could make you sick.
Raw milk is very safe and extremely healthy for you. It is is only unsafe if a cow is in unsanitary conditions and not cared for properly. Our state issues raw milk licenses and does checks similar to restaurants on the farms who sell it.
