I’m 64 and I have followed Jinjer on RUclips for about 6 years now. I have never followed any one band for that long long before. Tatiana is a master at extreme vocals. Jinjer has become one of the best bands in metal today. The Jinjer rabbit hole is definitely one worth jumping into.
Yes! Great reaction. More Jinjer please. Tatiana is "absurdly awesome" indeed. Their catalog goes back 15 years - and EVERY song they''ve written is a masterpiece in my opinion. Live they are phenomenal. Reactors usually go for Perennial Live at Wacken 2019 as the second reaction - it's a great live stage performance. But anything you choose is going to blow you away! Hope you continue the Jinjer journey.
45 years I've been a metal fan. Since I got JP's Sad Wings of Destiny album in '77. Followed the genre throughout its evolution and no band has grabbed and held my attention like Jinjer has. Their music is amazing and their back story is tragic yet inspiring. Love this band!
There are a few all clean vocal Jinjer songs but yeah most have some level of harsh vocal techniques. Perennial Live at Wacken Open Air, Who is Gonna Be the One live, Outlander Live at Loudfest, Captain Clock, Teacher Teacher. All really good videos to look at.
The cognitive dissonance on people's faces when Tatiana first growls is truly captivating. It's an unexpected and astonishing moment. I believe I witnessed the precise instant she captivated part of your soul. Observing people's reactions to Jinjer is fascinating, and for that reason, I'll subscribe and follow your descent into the Jinjer rabbit hole.
I love how this song leaves everyone absolutely speechless. Even if you're not a fan of this particular genre of music, you HAVE to be impressed with how any human being can do that with their voice. They have many good songs, but they are at their best in front of an audience. Hope you check them out further.

Judgement & Punishment one take vocal, Vortex, Wallflower, Disclosure, Call Me A Symbol, Teacher Teacher. Sit Stay Rollover and Mediator are two pretty aggressive tracks. Bad Water is all clean vocals.
Man, they are a once in a generation sensation. My favourite bands are (in brackets my age of getting into them) King Crimson (16) Van der Graaf Generator (15) Gentle Giant (14) Soundgarden × Faith No More (20) Soft Machine (47) and Jinjer (52) having grown up since 4-year old with Genesis, Beatles, Pink Floyd. Jinjer are a sensation. You just scratched the tip of the iceberg with Pisces. Their mix of djenty metalcore delving in eastern European folk music harmonies with soul, jazz, rap, perfectly produced and performed, very Opethy and other contemporary influences, is just from the instrumental perspective outworldly. The vocalist propells is to the stratosphere.

Sometimes like in my case even if you don't know anything about making music you can still recognize quality. When something is good you know it. This was the immediate case with jinjer. And I think you feel the same so enjoy the ride.!
I never introduce people to Jinjer through Pisces. I always show them Vortex, which I consider a much better, more complete and more accessible piece of music.
