could definitely tell how much care and attention you put into this video - the little intros at each bookshop, the voiceover, the beautiful sweeping shots?? it was like a mini travel show 🥰
Not me going through all 8,500 editions of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde while this video was on trying (and failing) to find the edition you bought just for you to straight up say the edition in the end LMAO omg I’m so happy I found it. That edition is stunning!
when i tell you i SCREAMED when you nearly picked up Shades of Magic - that series means everything to me like its permanently inked onto my body(and my soul lmao)
this was so much fun to watch! the protective plastic that goldsboro uses is actually archival quality so it's meant to left on, and won't harm the book over time
Those book shops are so pretty!! We are planning to go back to UK this Christmas. I can’t wait to go visit those book shops!! I’m so excited now. We live in Bangkok and our bookshops are very limited and blegh lol. Thank you so much for your suggestions.
I never heard of half these shops, they're so cute! I was literally at Kings Cross the other day as well, oh well guess I'll just have to go back! Excited for you to read another Miss Ruth Ware :)
I live in America and my absolute dream is to visit a Waterstones!!! Barnes and Noble is nothing compared to Waterstones lol I want to go to Europe just to visit one of their locations
i went to london back in june and i was in the kings cross area and i can’t believe i didn’t know about words on the water it looks so cool!!! excited to see what you think of the new ruth ware and taylor jenkins reid books!
some good picks! I recently started reading Paper Girls because I was curious to check out the show version of it - read vol 1 and watched ep 1 and realized I couldn't continue until I read the rest since they covered the same basic material! Waiting on my library holds now... Saga is on my list to get to and the murder mystery one looks super interesting!
@@megwithbooks tbf that is true, they’re different but also very similar in certain ways. I feel like both Foyles and Waterstones Picc are just experiences on their own. If you need anymore reccs for London book shops, even small indie ones just give me a shout, I live there and visit them (too much haha)

Ah you should’ve gone to Foyles, it’s gorgeous there!

Using this to live vicariously through you cause Londons too far
i'm glad to be of service hahah
It's a good thing London is so far away from me, because these bookstores are too pretty!
