hi there. are there any new ones out there that are totally free and easy to use? i need something that i can just install straight on my android tablet and thats it. no time for home assistant, too complicated. need something plug and play these days. i am only using tuya (wifi, bluetooth and zigbee 3.0) and sonoff zigbee 3.0. thanks in advance.
Hi, is there anyway that I could turn off Ewelink app notifications automatically when I reached home and turn on again when I'm leaving home. It would be very helpful since I used the Sonoff motion sensors as part of my home security in conjunction with Google assistant and android phone. Thanks .
Hi there, thanks for you comment. As right now, we're not sure if this can be done through the app. However, you kigtj be able to achieve this through (if this then that) -> ifttt.com/ewelink Hope that helps. Thanks
Hi, are you referring to dashboards or just home automation in general? I'd always say start by getting a smart speakers before anything (Amazon echo dot or Google home assistant)... From there, you can get smart light bulbs or strips and slowly work your way up. Hope that helps. If you have any specific question, feel free to ask. Thanks AT
Unfortunately, the team have got rid of all the resources used in this video. However, the good thing is, now we have a backup storage for everything we use in the next few videos. I know, I wasn't able to help you now, but I am sure in the near future we will. Thanks for your cooperation.
Great video. Question: What a dashboard for Alexa's routine. The reason is that sometimes I want to use my voice and sometimes I want to press a tile on a dashboard. Alexa detects all devices. Currently I am using Flic buttons. I would like a central location. Thank you
Hi, first of all, thank you for watching the video. Now back to your question, could you elaborate a bit more, please? Are you asking if there's a specific dashboard for Alexa Routine? Thanks
Ah I see... I am with you on this one. There isn't a specific Alexa Dash that allows you to interact with tiles like that. I wish Amazon or any other company does something like that. It would be awesome! The closest you can get is the new "Echo Show 15". We'll be making a video about it soon. Thanks.
Thanks for you home dashboard review. I’ve been looking for one for awhile. Alexa controls everything. I would like to install a dashboard on my Lanovo Tablet, the only problem it’s Google OS what’s the best for this configuration? Thanks.
For most of the dashboards mentioned in this video, the operating system should not be a problem. Instead look at what devices/gadgets you have at home, and see which one of the following dashboard app is the most suitable one!
With the Home+ 5 Dashboard, they have a wide range of devices compatibility. We're not entirely sure, but mostly they will support them. It's worth checking it out
Good video! For future videos, please make the video clips relevant to what you are saying at the time. Why were you showing clips of the Echo Show 15 during the whole segment on Home+ app? It’s confusing or even misleading to viewers who don’t know much about the devices/apps.
Nice video! I'm new to the smarthome and have a bunch of wifi lights, switches and ir blasters from various manifacturers. As an assistant i use both amazon alexa and google but i'm not satisfied from their dashboards. For what i understood, in order to use theese dashboards you suggested i have to use smartthings (my lights are not smartthings enabled) or homekit (my gadgets are not homekit enabled) or buy hubitat hub or mess with home assistant? Isn't there a "virtual hub/dashboard" such as alexa and google assistant, that joins multiple manufacturers just by gathering information from the proprietary manufacturers app, installed on my device, and then displays it all in one?
Hi there, thanks for the feedback. To answer your question... You're completely right, there isn't a dashboard at the moment that supports all devices or gadgets from various different manufactures. However, some of these dashboard support most common devices such as lights etc. SmartThings for example does not only support smartThings, it can actually support many other devices from various company. This apply to other dashboard mentioned in this video. Alexa and Google Assistant, they're very good dashboard in a form of speaker rather than tablets and you can control almost everything with them. But We're not aware of a "Virtual" dashboard. We will do some research to see if we can what you're asking for. Hope that very helpful. If you have any further questions or a topic to suggest, please go ahead and let us know in the comment section. Thanks :)
@@AutomatedTech thank you for the reply! I now understood that even if some smart gadgets such as temperature sensors or lights, are inside tuya app and are compatible with alexa and google assistant, they may be not compatible with smartthings, and that's a pity, because it is just by smartthings that we are able to use your excellent suggestion of virtual dashboards. So we should find other dashboards that collect information/control gadgets linked to alexa or google assistant instead of smartthings. I think that the prominent Matter protocol will solve this...
Thank you once again for your comment. It's worth mentioning that Samsung's constantly adding the support of new devices on SmartThings. But I totally understand and I can see how it all can be very disappointing.
@@AutomatedTech Hubitat is my main rules engine but I also use SmartThings in a limited capacity. My main objective is to automate as much as possible but for the dashboard I use HOOBS to import everything into Apple’s Homekit. There are better options for customisation & obviously no good for Android, but it’s visually clean/smart and easy to maintain across devices.
Great video👍😁
Thank you 👍

i have a bunch of TUYA wifi cheap switches, what Home Dashboard would you recommend for me ?.
Any of the 5 mentioned below would be ok. It's a matter of preference.
@@AutomatedTech Do you need to have them running in smartthings platform?,,

Alright, I see where you're coming from. Thanks for pointing that out! We'll make sure the next few videos, the title and the video matches!

How to install it on my Samsung Tab s9?
You guys dont seem to credit the creators whose clips youre using. It would be nice to be abke to see the long-form video that you pulled from.

I think it's misleading to show the Apple Home app when talking about a specific dashboard. It was really hard to well which dashboad has which look.
We apologize for the confusion. We'll make it more clear next time. Thanks for the feedback.
So, a review of apps and not of tablets then……

at about 1 minute in, you show a magnetic wall mount for a table. Can you share any details?
And appreciate the video. Very helpful.
For that section of the video, more details can be found on "Justin_Tech" RUclips page. Hope that helps.
Is there a dashboard that works without smart things?
Yes, of course!
Most dashboard support many different manufacturers.

Hubitat is a great home automation platform but it’s native dashboard is average at best.
Which one do you personally use?
