Personally, I think you played it just as good as he did, however his had more dynamic contrast simply because he was playing on an actual piano, meanwhile yours is a digital and will likely never sound as good as the original. You played it fine, it's simply a difference in the quality of the instruments. Great job nonetheless!! I enjoyed listening to your arrangement. :)
I came from Jarrod’s cover but I don’t even know if I’m talented enough to even bother trying to learn this one 🤷🏻♂️ I think I’ll leave it up to the professionals ;)
It is definitely worth trying! I improved a lot by learning this piece and now the other songs I used to play seem way easier! Don’t be afraid of the time it will take you to learn it, it might take you months (it did for me) but as long as you keep practicing you will eventually get it! 💪😉
Amazing! How long did it take you to learn, expecially the descending chromatic part?! I struggle to play it cleanly and am only about a third of that speed so far 😅
Thank you so much! I don't remember exactly how long it took but several months for sure! The descending chromatic part wasn't the hardest one for me, but I practiced with Jarrod Radnich's audio to match the speed and put the accent on the right notes. 😉 Then it's only a matter of repeating it over and over again until you finally reach the intended speed! ☺
