Those are some banger tracks,that I love aswell. One track I would add is Boo Lake,since the recent makeover in Tour has really surprised me. It's soo good and I hope they add the part of the Pier you can't acess yet in lap 2 or 3 for 8 Deluxe.

As for N64 Rainbow Road, I was super disappointed at how they shortened the track into sections for the remake. What made that original track so epic was its marathon length!! Lastly, is it safe to assume that given your love for the non-Mario tracks, you would be on board for a “Nintendo kart” type of game? I’m a purist myself! So many mushroom kingdom locations still to tap!
Thanks bro! Had to go with Merry Mountain as my #1… Christmas is my favourite Holiday and it’s associated with so many nostalgic memories. I even got Double Dash for a Christmas Present when I was very young… Merry Mountain takes me to that special place. I love the glow up of N64 Rainbow Road.. I also loved the 3 long laps on the N64. I’m not to sure which I prefer 🤔 Hmm. I myself am also a Mario Purist… Especially imagining those classic super Mario world locations and super Mario bros 2.. However, I think having a handful in a new Mario Kart game can only bring more people in.. and if it’s handled well like Animal Crossing + Hyrule Circuit I’m all for it! (Would love a Majoras mask track).
I think this the first time a tour track has ever been on a top 10 tracks list. This isnt a bad thing in slightest, that game has lots of banger nitros and retros
I think I'll hold off on making my top 10 until wave 3 releases, as Merry Mountain and the rumoured 3DS Rainbow Road (neither of which I've played before) are bound to make it onto the list pretty high up based on what I've seen of them.
@@Swiftjar I'd add the F-Zero tracks, especially Big Blue, along with the Animal Crossing and Zelda ones. Not sure which ones I'd change, but either in the top 10 or at least really close there would be the Wuhu tracks (I love Wuhu Island), Maple Treeway, Waluigi Pinball, Dino Dino Jungle and Ninja Hideaway. It was difficult to choose even those few because there are so many fantastic tracks throughout Mario Kart's history!
As much as I like Merry Mountain, the course just feels too short for its grandeur. It'd be even shorter on 200cc (not as short as Tokyo Blur lol). I wish it were longer cuz it's such a great atmosphere!

Solid list, even if some aren't on my top list. Though now I want to share my top 3 list as 10 was sorta difficult for me to narrow down all the great tracks. 1. N64 Rainbow Road, I think the original track is still the longest in the series. The music is amazing, and it's a blast to race on. Especially in the original with the big cut you can make. I genuinely enjoy both interpretations of the track in 64 and 8 Deluxe 2. Tour New York Minute, exclusively in 8 Deluxe. As someone who never played Tour but hearing all these different variants, I wondered which one Nintendo would choose for the Pass. That is until we found out that all variants would be included in some form. Though we didn't get NYM4. Still I like City tracks at night. And I now have high hopes Vancouver Velocity and other night city tracks will look. 3. 3DS Wuhu Loop. I was a huge fan of Wii Sports + Wii Resort. Seeing this track in Mario Kart 7 was awesome. Plus the remix is fantastic and I hope that we get a surprise Wuhu track in 8 Deluxe (that isn't a battle mode.)

As a competitve mkwii player, here's what I think of the list 10 a really overatted track. I don't get how people still like CM. It shoudn't be the only wii nitro on here 9 Also Overatted. CTGP's version doesn't do much for me as well. 8 I like DKM quite a bit for Time Trialing, but it's a mach track which would make me hesitate to put it higher 7 Um, That's gonna make ppl made. The track is okay though 6 Oh yes. My favorite character's track. Bias aside, Cruiser is pretty good, Can't wait to see it in mk8dx 5 DSDS is overatted, I don't like it because of the cut at the end, Dock cut is fun though 4 Totally agree, The new CTGP version is 2 laps and like mk8dx with shortcuts 2! 3 Also Agree, one of my favorite spear tracks, can't wait to see the new version in CTGP (I don't know if it's possible) 2 These tracks are kinda high, but I like both series 1 I knew it was coming. I haven't played the track but I think I'll like it.

@@Swiftjar Honestly not sure. The original N64 Rainbow Road would likely be on there because the new one is too short and doesn’t have that chill vibe the first one did. Remade Kalimari Desert would probably be on there. DK Summit, Mushroom Gorge, Toad’s Turnpike would all be likely considerations. Honestly, it’s hard to say without looking at all of them!

Great Video once again, the only course I agree from this list is Daisy Cruiser. It’s not in my top 10 but it definitely is the best out of the 10 you gave. I’m not really a fan of courses that aren’t part of the Mario Universe so they’re at the bottom. Baby Park is my least favourite track out of all the Mario Tracks.💖🥰

Personally, I loathe Baby Park. It may be the single worst track in the franchise in my opinion. I'm still happy that people can manage to enjoy what I really dislike.
