For the most part, the device will operate in minimal mode, so this is important. Mine outputs 30 decibels, which is too much, and I'm trying to find examples to figure out what the problem is.
You need to scan the qr code from the manual to be able to control the unit through your cellphone..after scanning the qr code..follow the instructions..make sure your Bluetooth is on and your wifi connections..I hope this will you guys.Thank you
Sorry, I can't say since I don't smoke anymore. I think you will need a carbon cartridge insert to remove odors since the hepa only traps solid particles.
Found what the problem was. My router is imported from china Redmi and uses XIAOMI mainland china to connect to router. But app would only connect when I changed back to European region bug now my router won't connect to app cause it say need mainland china region. Seriously would assume XIAOMI would have this crap sorted out.
@Clive Rawden I bought through Shoppee. There's all sorts of weird import business here. Maybe mine are international models and yours is a China domestic model.

My phone reads 32db at 1 meter away, 42db on top of the fan.

Make sure your device has the wifi on. I think that's why I couldn't connect before, but I won't use wifi anyway.
