In this video I got a hair wash from a Japanese head spa. The tools were different from the ones I've seen in other spas and the lady was so gentle!

This is only a little bit of hair and it’s permed though, I watched the RUclipsr peytonn Charles do this and her hair was mangled after.

I had this done. Felt amazing, however my hair was all dry and tangled afterwards. Next time I will just have the facial only. My hair is naturally curly btw
I’m sorry about that, I think what also helps is just briefing them about your hair before hand I always do that. I even show videos on how I dry mine 😂🙈 because Chinese people have their own method of drying
My results too the first time, i did again but had relaxed it the second time and the results were amazing.
Go with knotless braids next time. Can still get the experience without the tangle

I suppose if you can't afford a gua sha comb you can go to the 99 cent store and buy a pick. One thing I've noticed from these videos is that you can use pretty much anything for head scratches.

I don’t think so, more of just scratching the scalp 😅 but I won’t lie it was quite relaxing. With regards to the locs, maybe they’d do it the same way they did my braids on one of my videos

It’s more about how black people have a different hair type compared to an Asian person. If they aren’t aware of how to do it, they can really mess up your hair. I hope this helps some 😊
Stating that in the title also helps in searching and finding videos featuring people of color in specific kinds of videos, like ASMR videos and videos on traveling to certain countries.
Hey there, you may know that asmr videos particularly those based around the spa’s have been dominated by other races. Being able to search one done on black women/hair is something I myself used to search for as a consumer of asmr at times. Titles help narrow down people’s searches who just like me, sometimes want to specifically watch a black woman’s experience of Asian spa asmr
