Our Defense is more depleted than any team I can remember in my lifetime across any franchise. The crazy thing is that we still have some excellent defensive players, and they may only need to make 1-2 plays a game if the Lions offense is rolling. The Offense still has a chance to keep them in any game.
Regarding Gibbs taking Montys carries vs having another guy step up, I expect it'll be a combo of both, through the year both Gibbs and Monty have been nearly 50-50 in carries on the ground, with Gibbs getting more catches from the backfield, but our 3rd and 4th RB Options in Craig Reynolds and Sione Vaki can easily step up and absorb some of the carries that way Gibbs isn't an every down back, he can absolutely do it but no back in the league normally takes every RB snap. Vaki can be explosive similar to gibbs and is shifty and Reynolds is a more hybrid between sonic and knuckles, and he is also very good when he needs to be. Expect it to be like a 70-80% for Gibbs and the other 2 come in on relief
We were way healthier on thanksgiving and they still got 20+ on us why would they score less when we loss over 8 starters since we last faced them? Lions get the W but it’s not domination

The only question is if their coaches can actually get them to try for nothing but pride. If they actually get up on their hind legs and give it a shot they _could_ bloody the Lions' nose. I think the bills were the start of a downslide that’s only happening due to the injuries. Lions have got to be taking a morale hit after d-mo. The offense was the only thing keeping them up. I think they’re gonna collapse and win it all next year, relying on their skill rather than the grit.
