I would add a float to the suction end, so that the water intake floats about halfway between the bottom of the creek and the surface . The bottom of the creek has sediment, and the surface of the creek has contaminants floating on top
Thanks for the idea about using a Joolca pump for more continuous output that the built in battery/pump can provide. Wish Guzzle would offer a version with a 12v input rather than internal battery operation only.
You are welcome. They do offer a 12 volt version, but it is designed to ve hard mounted. I agree with you that they should be able to make a portable one where you can hook it up to a 12v source
Hi, by any chance have you looked at the Blu Tech ARX+ or MR3 systems? Curious how all these systems compare, especially if you don't need the pump because you have something already have the Joolca pump.
Well get me all excited waiting on u tell us a price on it then mic drop all I could here is crickets u flew the coop 😂 I’m assuming it’s so expensive that it scares u to even mention the price
At $2000+ I don't think so brother, build a better unit for 1/3 the price.......😂 I can't think of any normal person who would spend that on a Nanuk case a filter, pump and a UVC lamp 😂😂😂😂
Awesome video as always Coddiwomple Overland. Y'all always have the best tips for Overlanding.
Thank you!

Great idea!
Very informative video, thank you! Still considering buying one of these units and this helps. Keep the knobs dirty!
We use ours on every trip still and have had no issues.

Hi Bill, very nice product, one I’m adding to my list. I hope all is well? Thank you for sharing! 😊
Thank you!

We haven't looked at those
Great video!
Thanks!
Can you show how you use the Joolca Pump to supplement the H2O system?
We will try to get a video ASAP on that.
fantastic product! I wish that I could afford it!
Yes, it is.
What you said expensive, I was thinking like $4k+ or so, but I think the $1200 range is very reasonable.
Thanks
Very expensive for how unproven it is.

Haha same here. So I googled it 🫣
$1200 ….😮
Sorry about that. Yes it’s about $1200. I normally don’t do price’s because they can change and my videos are out forever
@@CoddiwompleOverland yea man, makes sense. Thanks for showing us cool and unique tools. I have never seen this.
Great!
@@CoddiwompleOverlandjust say.....at the time of this video the price is... 🤨
Actually, $1,200 is pretty cheap when you're out in the middle of the nowhere and dont have access.
I agree
Totally agree
If definitely came in handy on this trip.
Overcomplex , overengineered, delicate machine that, even if working as intended doesn't purify anything on such low voltage.
Thanks for your input
