It actually looks largely unchanged.
Much less crowded than today and much more English. This was how the city was when I was ten and I loved it.
Wonder what the level crossing looked like then?
Which one? The nearest to St.Marys Street or the old St Mark's station further down the high street? X
Where have all the swans gone ?
This video is not the 70,s it was,nt pedestrianised then
High Bridge was pedestrian only, and this is before Waterside was built.
