With the Max and Iggor re recording the older albums I feel like they have no plans to retire just yet. I would love to see Andreas and Paulo pass the band back to the brothers after they retire. Doubtful sadly.
Max & Igor will do it, only if their payed what they want to be payed. I saw Sepultura on Arise in San Antonio, Tx I was 19. When Max left Sepultura so did I, I've seen Soul Fly 3 time's.
I saw soulfly when they first came around in 98 and their encore set consisted of a best of sepultura and some nailbomb songs set! And I've heard of them doing songs with other projects over the years, so if it doesn't work out, at least they never denied their fans hearing their favorite songs live! Which is what I feel is important!
honestly, Sepultura moved on and released several bangers, while Max hasn't done anything good since the first Cavalera Conspiracy album. Him reliving his former glory by re-recording Sepultura proves that. And I love Max era Sepultura, but getting him back would destroy everything they worked for since 1998

Who are the real Sepultura fans? Keep in mind all the biggest Sepultura albums that made the band famous worldwide were done when Max, Andreas, Igor and Paulo Jr. were band members. If you have the original albums with booklets they are all credited for writing the songs. Real Sepultura fans are the ones who want to see all of them reunited. All the rest are just fans of the Cavalera bros on one side or fans of Andreas, Paulo & co. on the other side...in most occasions hating the other side.
