you have a video for almost literally all of the things i plan to fix but can find nothing on the internet on how to do. i have a 2001 clk430 and love it, your videos are allowing me to love it even more by being able to do the work myself thank you so much for taking the time to do these
hey hello, your comment makes me very happy, it's my personal car that I don't intend to sell any time soon and I will make many more videos with it, but at the moment I have to solve my problem with the space..., stay by my side and I hope to help you in the future, thank you very much❤
@@curtisboyce3849 scotland, you can get a clk430 with full options and sport suspension for a few thousand dollars.Meanwhile a 500e from a few years before is 50,000 dollars, there is not that much difference in the actual engineering of the cars, they do about the same performance and the clk still has some of the old benz feel and charm, now tell me is that a bargain or what?
I thought the first video I saw gluing a piece of plastic was best. What I did was take a small plastic wall expansion anchor that uses a screw.and use the expansion piece by slicing one of the three expansion legs from the other two expansion legs. Cut the length to fit. For my piece I only cut about a 1/16 of an inch. Put two legs on one side of the divided area, and one leg on the other side of the divided are of the white button receptacle. Had to shave down the round piece at the top where the screw would normally go in if I was screwing into a wall (its normal use). Works. Would be better to cut a piece out a very small piece of the round top to fit the little spike that fits in, in the very top right. Works without doing that for now. Had the button cover come off. Appears stable now.
One thing I found on mine - brittle plastic. Instead of prying near the "pivot posts" - I should have pried on the ends of the carrier (the part next to the buttons to the left and right). There are small tabs on each end and if you use the screwdriver to push them in, then the carrier comes out easier.
1998 E300TD W210 Why doesn't my Climate Control "Auto" button light go Off. It only goes Off if I reduce the Fan speed to zero or if I hit the Defrost Button.(The "Auto" light does go Off when I turn the Key Off ! And the heater Fan only goes on when it wants to. Does not go on when I hit the Increase Fan Speed button. Thanks... Liked/Subscribed.
I also have a problem with the passenger compartment and I plan to make a video of this operation, but for now I don't have the necessary space for this intervention, soon...
