FYI - This video was recorded prior to my recent glaucoma surgery. I just had a tiny bit of editing to finish before sharing it. Surgery went well with no complications and I’m feeling just fine. 😊
So glad to hear that good news! You were frequently in my thoughts and prayers these past few days. Thank you for thinking of us during your recovery time! I am amazed at the talent of the artist or artists of this paper collection. I LOVE the dimensional look of the papers. I kept thinking, "Oh, those embellishments are not going to stick to that paper." because the dimension looks so REAL!
WOW fabulous cards Kristie. Glad to hear your surgery went well, take care of yourself 😻 I love the pattern papers and your layouts. They are all my favorite ❤ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx
Thank you for another delightful video. I liked the ‘tip’ for using liquid adhesive on the edges of a stitched background! I am a ‘blue’ fan so, of course I loved all of the cards containing the color BLUE.
Awesome paper designs from Paper Rose. Love how you created your cards they look stunning as usual. Very happy to hear that your surgery went well. God bless. 💖🤗
This is a really cool paper assortment. Some of the papers remind me of counter tops. I especially liked the first cards with the pink diamond steel look. This is a fresh look on papers for both masculine and women who wok in the industrial industry.
These are fantastic!!! I love that Paper Rose ventures off course with their paper collections. I'm thrilled you even got your pink fix on! Glad all went well with your second surgery!!
That pink peeled paint paper is fabulous!! Imagine it in blur. 😉 My other favorite card was the metallic red with the gears. Idk why, but I really liked that one. I’m not into steampunk. TFS! 💙💙💙
You did such a great job showcasing this paper collection. It's not one I would have chosen but you have given me reason to rethink that. I especially like the first and second cards. So beautiful!!
Thanks for sharing Kristie and praying you have a speedy recovery. I always bypass these type of paper packs not knowing what to do with them. Some great ideas you have given us.
Great to hear surgery went well for you. Waaaahooo, finally I had the paper pad before you did the video, so true to myself about not buying any pads this year....maybe...tfs
My resolve to use what I have is weakening. What a gorgeous group of cards. I've been eyeing some of the grunge paper, so a big thanks for using this pack.
Wow I wouldn't of known what to do with that paper. Love your ideas. How is your other eye doing? I hope you are recovering well from yor 2nd glaucoma surgery. Have good week. Thanks for sharing your card ideas. Sandra Davis
Maybe the grunge is not your style, in signature fashion you made those cards shine! my 2 favorite was the brown/blue “paper hugs” and the last card, 9 pained window “Thanks”. Glad your recovery was quick!
The stitched rectangle dies I used are by MFT. They sell 2 sets so there is a nice variety of sizes. I ran out of space to list them in the description box, but I do have links provided on my blog. 🙂
Thank you for this video. I really liked your layouts. Can you plz tell me where to get those layout sheets you use from My Favorite Things and what they are called?
Thank you so much! I find the card sketches online from different websites. My Favorite Things has hundreds of sketches available for inspiration. You can go directly to their website or my blog. I have links to several sketch sites on my blog, including My Favorite Things or MFT. (link to my blog is in the description box.)
I cut out all of the squares using the die and I generally cut them out one at a time. The "square" openings for the Card Creator 3 die aren't all the exact same size.

Loved these cards! Thank you for always inspiring me!
Would never have thought to use a different colour for the cogs. I always use brown or copper, silver , will try this for sure
Pink works for everything! Lol! 😊💖
My resolve to use what I have is weakening. What a gorgeous group of cards. I've been eyeing some of the grunge paper, so a big thanks for using this pack.
Sorry for the enabling. Lol! I’ve had this collection since last year. It was so fun to use! 😊

I love the grunge paper, but i thought how you going to make cards out of it, but you did and they look great, great male cards

Hi! At 16:32 you say “I have a stitched rectangle die cut...” Where can I get this or what is the brand? Thanks!
The stitched rectangle dies I used are by MFT. They sell 2 sets so there is a nice variety of sizes. I ran out of space to list them in the description box, but I do have links provided on my blog. 🙂

Kristie, do you cut out each square individually for card creator #3, or do you run it through the die cutting machine?
I cut out all of the squares using the die and I generally cut them out one at a time. The "square" openings for the Card Creator 3 die aren't all the exact same size.
Hey Kristie.
How did the surgery go? How are you feeling?
Hello! Surgery went well. I’m feeling just fine. It’ll still be weeks or months before I know if the surgery was successful.
