At the dealer from 1976, we had no single use hearing protection, eye protection or gloves from stoddard solvent or our 55 gallon drum of 1-1-1 trycloraethylene that we used on aluminum and the occasional wart. Are warts supposed to wiggle? We where good. It is like what did you call 1970 sunscreen, you called dirt. Enough dirt, no sunburn! Easy. Easy,, I SAID EASY.

Look, im addicted to this level of detail. But im gonna be honest, unless im sending that thing to Mecum, or Barret Jackson i dont have the patience for all this for a tailgate my kid is gonna slam a billion times 😂
If you slap that kid hard enough they won’t slam it a second time, lol. JK. Yeah, it turned out almost too nice for a daily. Definitely more of a show truck. I sold it and one thing that set it above most was the time spent inside the bed. Thanks for watching!
you need to start working on some hot junk. That was way to easy to take that bed apart. It took me three weekends to get my 73 bed apart because it was a little rusty. Can't wait to see how you handle the cross member. I have to do that and some patching in the bed. I'm not going deal with the dents on the inside of my bed. Just Strip, Prime and Rhino Line.

I got the same bad habits of 67-72 and squares..... I’m about a week behind you on an 87 V20 I’m on for my youngest son Your doing exactly what I’ve done on the bed. I ran Imron 2.5HG on the interior of the bed and chromabase and premier cc on the exterior. Blocking the doors, cab and fenders for the first time after letting it set for a week.
I will probably go a similar route, single stage inside and base clear outside. Works well I think. Block on my friend and thanks for watching!
instead of naming the truck elbow greese you might have to change the name to chiropractor for all the adjusting you're gonna have to do putting that bed back together 😀. I'm here to watch every video. I'm sure it'll be fine

Well another great video from you and so much of your knowledge of this stuff you have given us. A light went off for me tonight watching,the main thing you have besides the know how,is patience and that is a trait that is so difficult for most of us to learn! I will try to change my ways, but no promises are given lol. Looking forward to the next one and that is a guarantee

looking forward to seeing the bed cross sill replacement I've got 2 of em on my dad's 84 and then all 3 short ones to replace on it.

I've done about 5 square bodies over the last few years and doing a second one for a guy I did one for last year at the moment and I'm about burnt out on squares for the moment my next one waiting is a 52 International pickup full show quality frame up then a 70 Chevelle full build I'm tired for a 59 year old 😂

If I was that far into the bed, I would look into the widened wheel well tubs and the corresponding bed floor that goes with them from AMD. Its a factory look but gives you more room! Love the video!
The thought crossed my mind but trying not to keep adding to the $$$. You know widened tubs=narrowed rear end, wider tires n wheels, 4 link,…etc, lol. Thanks for watching!
Curt Robersons Garage just widen his in last video. I think he spliced extra metal while off. It is the older 67-72 C10 I think.
