  • Solaronics Heaters create heat with infrared rays, an energy form similar to the sun's rays warming the earth. The Tube Heaters's highly polished stainless steel reflectors focus infrared energy that is converted into heat as it reaches absorptive objects such as equipment, concrete floors, machines and of course, people. The surrounding air is then warmed by conduction and convection. With our 304L stainless steel rustproof design, our infared heaters are the perfect choice for any high moisture environment.

So I’m getting ready to head out to a warehouse on one of my customers buildings this afternoon that have some of these installed and he says it’s not igniting. I’m an HVAC installer and a decent technician been in the industry for over 20 years now, so I’ve had my hands on plenty of gas furnaces. But never touching one of these. I don’t wanna look like a dumb ass when I get out there or waste time. Based off of what he’s telling me that it quit coming on and assuming they have gas and power and voltage from the thermostat what would be something to look for that is pretty regular or common on these and then if I need parts such as an igniter or something are those easy to Find from a local HVAC parts house or we have to order? Appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you.
