I appreciate that! It's only been a week but I love working on it already! The best part is there's room to stage 2 quilts at once to work on. LOL Appreciate you following along! Happy Quilting and Blessings to you and your family, Lea Louise
Love that mat! My mat is getting old, and it has several 'permanent' cuts in it from cutting 5" squares, etc. I keep moving my fabric to avoid them, but the time is now for me to invest in a new mat. Thank you!
That was my situation, too, Susan! There weren't many other places I could cut anymore. LOL It's been wonderful to use and the extra space is incredibly handy to have. Thanks for watching! Happy Quilting, Lea Louise
So nice to have your join us, Meg! Be sure to tell Amy thanks for me. 🤗 Enjoy watching and let me know if you have any questions! Happy Quilting, Lea Louise
Which quilt video are you referring to, Dolly? It is the rag quilt that just came out? If so, the edges for that quilt were clipped and frayed in the same manner as all the seams were. Thanks for watching! Happy Quilting, Lea Louise
BlackFriday sales are here and I want this mat, but the clips give me a long Pause--I saw how the mat separated when you picked it and the clips look like they would interfere with handling more rigid material like paper--what are your thoughts on this now, 3 months later. Thanks
Still a keeper! It's the size that sold me and it's served me well. The separation only occurs when I lift the mat rather that push it to move it a bit, so that's not a problem. The only drawback with the screws is they can occasionally get in the way of my rulers if I'm working close to the edge. Knowing that, I can easily accommodate my location. I generally work in the middle so the screws are on either side of me and mostly out of the way. I've very happy with this mat and am very glad I bought it! Hope this helps.
