The mil supposedly did this because of ptsd from giving up her son. She’s been suffering for a long time and it got worse when the son’s baby was born. So because she was so upset at having given away her child she decides to throw away that son’s child in the river. And a very short time later in a family counseling session this severe PTSD dissipates. And everything is fine with the baby’s mother because she realizes Mil was suffering. This is ridiculous. I think at least it should end with something like “but it would be a long time in therapy before mil would ever be trusted near children again.
You're absolutely right-severe PTSD magically vanishing in one therapy session? If only my real-life issues could be solved that fast! 😂 Honestly, maybe we should all sign up for that therapist's 'one-session fixes all' special! But yeah, let's be real-there's no way anyone's giving her the babysitting duties anytime soon. She'll be on a strict 'cookie-making only' probation for a while. 🍪
This story resurrects a memory of a young lady in my village who threw her newborn baby into a flood swollen river after her boyfriend abandoned her . Thank God two young men saw what happened and risked their lives to save the child. Sadly, it was not the end of this child's abuse. The mum has since passed, but her son refused to care for her when she was diagnosed with cancer,or attend her funeral. Can you believe her family was furious with his decision? While this story seems far-fetched, there are too many instances of such abuse.
So, did the mother adopt her son she gave up for adoption or did she just pretend he was an adopted child to hide the fact she had a child? Very confusing. Also, Grace was supposed to stay in the hospital overnight for observation, yet she is at home in the morning when her mother wakes up. If MIL has PTSD, she is never going to be safe around Grace if she has another episode.
At first it talks like Grace is a baby in a crib but one day later she is coming down the stairs talking and playing the piano. This story was very confusing
Don’t get it. Did I hear that she gave up her son , but than she says her son is the son she adopted after she gave him up. This story doesn’t make any sense.
Wow, who knew all those years of studying psychology would lead my mother-in-law to become the ultimate misdiagnosis queen of her own family! 🙃 If only she spent more time baking cookies for her grandkids instead of plotting ‘next-level drama,’ we’d all be healthier by now. But hey, if this were on Netflix, it’d definitely be trending at #1! 🍿
I spent to much time in Vietnam a Marine Veteran. GOD ALMIGHTY is the path that helped me. I say GOD and some get mad. I care not if they do. PTSD is bad on a person. All the suicides of military type and civilian type people. Seems it became a house hold word during Vietnam. What bothers one person means nothing to another. They have made great strides. More great strides are needed. This was a very very good story. This my 2 cents.

Baby Grace was supposed to stay in the hospital for 24 hours yet the morning after the incident Grace is at home in the crib. ???
Very mixed-up story. How did the mother in law get back the son she put up for adoption? The story makes no sense to me.
Somehow it seems she adopted him 🤷♀️
It's a confusing story. It's hard to forget what Peggy did
Sorry, but the story is unbelievable!
Your story make my blood boil just the tilte alone●¿●

I didn’t understand that bit either.
Don't know what is the story about?
I'm so confused. Why did she say Chris is not he biological son. Too many unanswered questions.
The voice of the narrator makes me want to go to sleep. And the Story is nonsens.
“It could develop into post traumatic stress disorder.” NO S-T, SHERLOCK!
I don't know if I could forgive from something like this.

Throw a baby in a river????😢
Throw a baby in river? I couldn’t listen to that. Give me the baby I’ll love and take care of it
REALLY STUPID STORY. Not a single realistic moment. Waisted my time.
Letters are small. Hard to read, i am 71 yrs old.😮😮😮
