So what we actually are capable of one day , might be limited to what AI tells you , because thinking too much might not be a need of future.

I worked on this for some time and it can all sound very complicated but the simple fact is AI starts with two things: a) memorization (storage of vast data), and b) comparative analysis (of the stored data). Your program needs to 'run' several hundred times (thousands even millions of times) to get best most accurate outcome and 'prediction' based on these calculations. You get the expert 'knowledge' of AI when your program is able to memorize, compare and anticipate outcomes based on given data and problem given.
The goal of AI is to make machines that 'think' like people. Machines are just Tools. AI are programable tools, they're software, used by humans . If AI t rebel against humans, they loose their purpose. But it's never been stated which person's mind they should think like. So far people have made Salvador Dali, and Norman Bates. Poor choices in my opinion. They are good at mimicry. Not creativity. Because they don't 'think'. AI deep learn, they don't deep understand. Massive differences in development. Subtle differences for humans. AIs won't think like people until they have bodies, internal monologues so that they can 'think' with words . Could you abruptly switch the task of the general-purpose AI that mastered Go and have it start learning something else without needing to wipe its slate clean and start with fresh data? Would it still maintain its mastery of Go after becoming competent in its new task?

Can we use AlphaGo and let it just learn all there is on the internet? The task is "understand humans and the world" and then just let it consum and process all the data as it likes. Give it as much processor time as we can and want to afford and after one year it should have developed to a state that an average human can not reach.

FYI, Strong AI is the ability to reason, and similar cognitive abilities that equal or exceed a human being. Not a simulated human mind or series of neurons. Weak AI is what we see at Google. A very efficient but extremely narrow intelligence that excels at a faulty limited number of tasks. Narrowing the definition in this way makes it easier to understand, but is inaccurate. The reason we see such a focus on simulating Murali functions isn't to do with this being the what AI 'is' so to speak. More a result of the fact that we still know very little about consciousness than an understanding of AI. This difference is important. As replicating intelligence, or learning if you want to be technical, will only get us so far. The true goal is self improvement. Once AI can self improve, we'll no longer be able to be the judge.

Can we use AlphaGo and let it just learn all there is on the internet? The task is "understand humans and the world" and then just let it consum and process all the data as it likes. Give it as much processor time as we can and want to afford and after one year it should have developed to a state that an average human can not reach.

AI - Artificial Intelligence is an evolution of algorithm where, Knowlege and Inference Engine are separated•
These systems are capable of creating "KNOWLEDGE" from pure "inference engine" and the accompanying ''Data structure"

FYI,
Strong AI is the ability to reason, and similar cognitive abilities that equal or exceed a human being. Not a simulated human mind or series of neurons. Weak AI is what we see at Google. A very efficient but extremely narrow intelligence that excels at a faulty limited number of tasks.
Narrowing the definition in this way makes it easier to understand, but is inaccurate. The reason we see such a focus on simulating Murali functions isn't to do with this being the what AI 'is' so to speak. More a result of the fact that we still know very little about consciousness than an understanding of AI.
This difference is important. As replicating intelligence, or learning if you want to be technical, will only get us so far. The true goal is self improvement. Once AI can self improve, we'll no longer be able to be the judge.
