@@deowrld "by the rules of boxing" nope the ref paused the fight without looking at a replay. The punch was later shown to have hit him on the belt which is legal since his beltline was above his navel.
There is no kidding DD quit, but he quit *AFTER* being robbed, which makes the argument invalid.
Francis is able to learn things so quickly. When he got out wrestled by Stipe, he came back the 2nd time looking like the better wrestler. Also his size and athleticism is always an advantage.

I'm a boxer (who also follows MMA broadly) and I knew straight away that Furys usual tactics of leaning on his opponent (to tire them) were not going to work on Francis who is almost the same size as him and is also a wrestler. Whatever Tyson did in that department would be almost like a resting position for Francis.

The most Special thing about Francis is that we don't really know what is his greatest attribute.... Is it his power, is it his durability, or is it how quick he evolves in all desciplines of MMA
@@czxxclzxx3754 I would say it is his intelligence and core strength due to his upbringing in those sand mines. Durability is not, as he is very explosive. But he managed his gas tank admirably. He is something like the kid pushing the wheel that later becomes Conan the Barbarian.

Greatest trait of Ngannou is his humility and learning from one of the best like Mike Tyson. I think that helped him do well in the fight. I hope Mike Tyson continues to train Ngannou with other trainers. He has potential.

Usyk is just a guy you can not dislike. He is so honest and so funny. He is legendary for his answer to "How do you feel?" with "I am feel". I am happy that man learned more english. He has so much fun on his mind. That fight might be one of the greatest in centuries between Fury and Usyk. Two unbeatable guys in boxing. Nobody else tham these two can beat each other. Might be one of the highest fighting IQ fights we will ever witness.

Fury seriously underestimated Ngannou. Once he felt the Camaroonian’s power, felt his strength, and saw that his punches did nothing, the reality of the situation hit him right in the face.
Yeah, as did pretty much everyone. Fury also had pressure to go forward and school Francis, meaning he forced himself to fight against type, to trade in the pocket with a harder puncher, hoping to do to Ngannou what he did to Wilder... except Ngannou is also 270, not 50-60 lbs lighter, and actually could deal with Fury on the inside. Also, any tiny mistake will cost you at HW, unlike Floyd vs Conor. Conor landed clean on Floyd as well but at 147 those shots aren't turning into knockdowns and making it look closer than it is. Anyhow, if Fury had decided from the outset he'd just box Ngnanou from the outside, it would have looked like we figured: 12 rounds to 0 for Fury.
@user-io6eq9gt6w Another thing I liked to mention, people were asking that Fury "lean" on Ngannou and let him carry his weight to tire him out. I kept thinking to myself that this is something that won't tire Ngannou, MMA you can literally be carrying your opponent like that the whole fight so tiring Ngannou in that way was not gonna work.

Fury's a showman. I agree with Usyk. Either it was scripted and Fury was going easy on him - or he totally overlooked Ngannou. Personally, I think it's most likely that it was scripted. If Fury wanted to he could've jabbed Ngannou's head off all night long with his taller/longer reach advantage and Francis wouldn't have been able to do anything.

@@80skid83Usyk didn’t look poor he was being fouled, Dubois threw 20 low blows that fight, usyk dominated his fight other than the low blow that moved his protector. And the canvas was wet which would impact how well he could move.

I think Wilder vs Ngannou looks alot more interesting after seeing this tonight, similar pull for both fighters and arguably more fair, which is crazy to say since Ngannou's had one pro fight. The fact that there's debate even among pros says alot about who won, but I highly doubt they would've ever given Ngannou a decision win even if the fight was more dominant. Besides, confirming the fight with Usyk was pretty much a dead giveaway. Wouldn't sell as well if Fury already lost his 0.

Its a different fight, francis is fury weight so he could asorb his punches better, wilder is faster and has pop on his punches but is naturally smaller than francis, it will come down to how francis handle speed and a guy with 1 punch ko power

Im a fan of and want to see want to see Usyk vs Ngannou :) from what I saw of the post fight interviews Ngannou carried himself , and actually so did Fury with the humility and grace of true champions.

Usyk was angry by tonight… this exhibition throws all kinds of doubt on his late December fight with Luke and we’re probably looking at an April showdown now… and that’s if it happens at all.
It needed to go as everyone thought it should, but Francis was reading from his own book and almost brought the mountain crashing down. Good on him for displaying what has to be the strongest debut of any untested novice boxer we have ever seen.
If Fury won’t rematch the Cameroonian, Joshua v Ngannou would make for an entertaining promotion.
Usyk at least now has curried the support for his place at the top of the heavyweight tree, WBC belt or no.
