Wowser! Your hair is amazing. I'm just a black guy (Jamaican) that loves seeing black/SSA women embrace their natural hair. Keep it up and rock that fro. Btw I love your smile. It lights up the whole room.
I did exactly this without adding water in the beginning and my hair felt super super soft! I deep conditioned then did my usual wash routine. Thank you!!!!
Your hair is Beautiful! I just big chop on 11-22-2017 after 18 months of transitioning. My first reaction was that I was happy. And thought to myself what's next. When I saw your hair with no product and when you have product on it. I said that is my hair twin. I will definitely be trying some of the hair products you use. I am protective styling with hair scarfs until I figure this out. Thank you for sharing! Be Blessed!!
The first year it was just a pony tail with a bun until my hair got too thick. The next six months was mini twist updo (FAITHFULLY) every three weeks. It was very time consuming but I loved them. So started wearing head scarves for a few weeks and just decided to get rid of those relaxed ends. Thank you sooo much for asking. Be Blessed!
Start using fenugreek spray in your hair and mix chebe powder with your shea butter. Yourr hair will change drastically in regards to the the little hair knotts on the tip..👍
I have 4C low porosity hair and I never wear it out/loose because it naps up so badly. I wear braids and 2 strand twist which I love and prefer but I find myself redoing them every 3 or 4 days. I know this is too much manipulation for my hair but I don't like when it looks dry and fuzzy. I have been using henna to color my grey and my hair has become hard and dry. Apparently I am not deep conditioning it well. I'm going to try your method but I do have a question. Why do you deep conditioning before washing? Well 2 questions... How do you condition after you wash? Thanks for the videos 😄
Hi Tee! Thank you for reaching out to me. Yes, that's alot of manipulation, I recommend redoing your twists after a week or so. In addition to deep conditioning your hair, you can get a daily hair mist to hydrate your hair everyday. Seal in the moisture in your hair using the LOC method too . Feel free to shampoo your hair before deep conditioning, that is what I do now 😀. In this video though, I deep conditioned first, then shampooed and applied my regular conditioner after. ❤
@@IamLewa Thanks for responding to my question. I have tried the Shea Moisture hair mask and the one from Carol's Daughter, neither has helped my dry hair. I'm still looking for something that will restore the softness my hair had before. I do use and love the Shea Moisture, Hold and Shine Moisture Mist a few times a week. I will be following you for more product and treatment recommendations. Thanks again
@@teethompson7756 Sounds like the cuticles on your hair are staying closed. Do you use warm water when you spray your hair? Try warming up your deep conditioner, and covering it with a warm plastic bag. It'll help open your cuticles to allow the moisture in.
Hmmm Thanks amazing about starting with dry hair-sprayed - I wonder if thats a factor. will try it. Def adding two Leave in Conditioners to a DC is ..as Curly Proverbz will say - EXTRA Beast mode! Nice one. Will try that too cos my HP hair is soooo in need of keeping moisture longer than a few hours. I dont need extra heat as my hair is widely open to receive. Are you Low porosity then? EDITING - Wait what? Did you just say at the end you now going to Shampoo and condition???? Why? since you just DC'd?

Hi Monica Moore Yes you can ❤️

Nice video! You have a new subscriber. Lovely hair by the way.
L Gabriel yayyy! thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Why would you deep condition before shampooing? That is working backwards.
Hi Christa Harris good question. It’s a tip I learnt from another naturalista. Most of the time, I shampoo my hair before applying my DC though ❤️.
I condition before shampooing as well. I use DC in stead of conditioners because conditioners are too light in my opinion.
that was an interesting technique. I like to pre-poo with water and olive oil before my shampoo and deep condition.
Lewa, you have mastered moisturizing 4C hair ❤️ I love your videos, may I ask your ratios for your Deep Conditioning mix?
I love this one but it’s expensive
Hi!! I have listed some other products in this video ❤️
