  • Prairie View A&M University could separate from the Texas A&M University System if the National Alumni Association president has his way.

    Funding is based in enrollment numbers, graduation rate, student retention rate, etc.
    Each university must make a case to the A&M system for additional funding. Each university is responsible for raising its own money.
    Each university is responsible for asking its alumni for donations. Alumni that have been successful and worth millions can well provide financial support.
    If an alumni or corporation or benefactor donates millions to PVAM thst donation stays with PVAM.
    The university system won't take or redistribute that donation.
    PVAM must learn to do for itself the way other HBCU have done.

      I think PV is Not diverse enough. People graduate from there thinking they own the world; needs to have more global influence.
