Next video will be about something that isn't Factorio
And on the off-chance the mod author sees this.
Change the primer thrower inserters. I wanted to used them exclusively to defend my walls but they do about 100x more damage to your walls than the biters because they're allowed to throw way too close to itself. Also things like cannon shells do no damage and explosive cannon shells do half damage because there's no contact damage, only explosive when it's thrown.

@@FDG323 hey quick tip, try to challenge yourself with stuff, like build a nuclear reactor from 0 calculate the ratios by hand and stuff. Or go for other game modes like death world, maybe go for challenge runs like MikeHendriks does. Also mods are your best friends to keep the game fresh, my interest also dies at chemical science, but after I get over that hump the game opens up like a book, at the end of the day, think about something that you find cool and try to make it I guess, and if you don't want to grind use editors extension mod and create a lab world, that way you can blueprint stuff, and add that giga reactor blueprint as a goal to your game for example, anyhow, videos an awesome way to get inspired to do stuff. Also never forget the factory must grow!

Imagine you're on the ground doing maintenance on the furnaces, and you're nearby this behemoth concrete and steel pad in the middle of it all, when suddenly a train horn blares above you and you turn to see an entire locomotive falling out of the sky. Now, you're new to this factory, you were just hired to maintain it while the creator goes on to build bigger factories, so you scream in mortal terror, only to hear it hit the pad and make a deep "bwoing" sound multiple times. You aren't dead, you peek up from the ground where you dropped for cover, only to see the back end of the train flying away in a glorious parabolic arc off to its next rail section. "What the f*ck." you say, as you lay there in shock until the sound of malfunctioning machinery reminds you why you were down there in the first place.

If you decide to do factorio again i have a suggestion basically 248k with 10x power costs, 2x health for everything (biters, bases, worms, and player structures), powered belts, P-U-M-P-S, rampant and allowed only 100 bots at any time to make it difficult (could also do deathworld if you think you can manage). You could also add a mod that adds harder ammo recipes and try to beat the game without flamethrowers (so you either have to use more iron for ammo or more electricity for lazer turrets, artilery and tanks would work too if you get that far)

Yea I started a death world with my brother and we didnt know what exactly that meant, we got half our base destroyed 3 times before we finally got things under control and with flame turrets and robot repairers we are finally safe. Also the mod that gives ships and deep see oil extraction rules since they cant attack over watter. Also we turned off everything coal powered and havent lost trees to polution in a long while.
Also we have a mod that allows walking over pipes, very conveniant, died once when we tried to use them as walls and didnt realize we had a mod for that.

Love these challenges you set for yourself! If you ever do another challenge of Factorio, My suggestion is to beat factorio without removing a single object, no removing rocks, trees or placed structures. Once you place it, it's there until you finish. Not sure if it'd be difficult or not, but I am sure if you made a mistake it'd be really annoying to overcome.

All these nuances like trains stopping instantly after landing on a rail are insane! Watching this it seems this mod only works reliably if 1. Locomotives point into the train rather than away from it, as that ensures that there is always acceleration at the start of a bounce and 2. No Train Limits lmao

Honestly I wish this was peak Factorio content in general. I love watching ores fly out onto aptly-placed conveyor belts and trains being sent flying through the sky, sometimes to crash headlong into Biter nests and release a payload of primed explosives. Like it never stops being funny.

You could make this even better you know. There's at least a few mods out there to let you automate the construction of trains (including their schedule). There's also a "hopper unloader" type thing out there that isn't an impact unloader but it still unloads train wagons very very quickly (in my head it's because it literally flips the whole train wagon upside down to empty it, just like you see IRL, and surprisingly the only special thing about those train wagons is that the couplers can rotate 360 degrees to allow the wagons to be individually flipped).
