First time I actually thought WOW entering the kitchen area, a true wow factor, magnificent space and as for the price…. Unbelievable value….. so much home for the money.
They’ve removed every single bit of character from the interior of this home. The incongruity of the comparison between the exterior and the interior is unbelievably jarring.
Yep. Those gothic columns in the entrance, the magnificent ceilings and details in the kitchen area, those wide stair-cases, sash windows and fireplaces... all gone - you clown.
To me this property was tacky. It looks like someone with little taste has won a lot of money. Particularly tacky is the bath in a bedroom. A beautiful building on the outside garish on the inside. I suspect if it wasn't for planning laws the outside would have been given the same garish tasteless makeover as the inside
House is too big for my taste and I don't like the columns inside the house. I prefer modern houses which tends to be cheaper to warm up and more comfortable. However I love big gardens, but I am not convinced this garden is really big.
Has the owner developed/modernised to flip the house for profit? Hence the vanilla greige decoration. Some Farrow & Ball and antiques will hopefully come along with the next owner.
@bridgetkeyes6170 - Love the thought over the "Farrow and Ball" comment but "new owners" will most likely not! Living in the Cotswolds, over the last decade, a lot of traditional properties have been bought by wealth city dwellers as a 'weekend escape' with "minimalist" refurbishment for "ease of maintenance" directly influencing the interiors of publicly used places (pubs restaurants and hotels again many owned by city dwellers) destroying all sense of local character that just can not be replaced. An absolute tragedy as, like many inner city shopping malls you could be in any major city in England or in the World for that matter.
Wtf. Did a Chav instruct the internal design. New money springs to mind. The reason why its so cheap is because its lost its original period charm. It woikd have been worth another 300k if done with taste.

£1.1 million? Cheap as chips for that, although it would probably cost that to heat it annually.
Gorgeous.That Kitchen. Omg.
The kitchen is stunning - what a bargain !!!
An absolute beautiful home. With an even remarkably price tag 😰🤭
Looks like a hotel.
I love the music of John Williams, especially his movie scores

agreed

What you did not say, is in the 1960 this was a school too, my partner actually went to school there, he love to buy his old school too.
Loved the kitchen-living room, but not quite as taken with the rest of it.
Needs some interior design inspiration! Everything white with modern sofas. Not right.
Mashaallah ❤️ it
exterior and kitchen plus 2nd floor are great the rest really need work doing on it to make it look stunning however is a great price
Does Holly come with the house?
Love the Gothic style and the orangery ❤
Black, white, grey, black, white, grey… Random sofas everywhere, looks like a clinical hotel.
For God's sake, get the bathtub out of the bedroom. It belongs in the bathroom. It's even in the name
Better than having a bed in the bathroom though.
I quite agree, it's like having a tin bath in front of the living room fire circa 1910. 😊
Better for post sex
yes
Only a million? No way.
if that house was situated where i live, or at least very close , you would be looking at 2.5
Could heat it one room at a time i suppose. It would cost a fortune to decorate it to your own taste. Lovely house though.

I don't like it - even though i can't afford it - damn my high standards!!
Me too, watching this I somehow feel uncomfortable
Price 2069 BAJLION POUNDS
Why the hell would you want a house that size unless you had 30 people living with you 🙄
cosy.
mmmmmmm a lot house for very little money that would 20 million london i wonder why it wont sell ?
Because it's not in London, Surrey or Sussex
Botched conversion, looks horrible, the original designer will be turning in their grave.
It looks like an institution, it lacks the homely look.
Personally I think it’s been over developed … like the orangery though

Why is this so cheap?
It’s Worcester
Cheapo laminate flooring
SOULLESS! A TRAVESTY.
