Also be sure to ask whoever refrets your guitar, if they are going to tap them out with a punch from the side. If you pull the vintage ones straight up, they rip out the fingerboard no matter what you do, because they installed them different back then.

( I love the way he hits a note & waits a split second before going into slow vibrato!), I have all of Paul Gilbert, Lukather & Eric Johnson's solo albums too. Have you ever heard of Blues Saraceno? & I've heard your impressive fast Eric Johnson type picking, do you play any fast Neal Schon type licks? Like the lick on his Piranha Blues album, Play the blues song, at 1;29 he plays that lick a lot. I'm sure you could shred it lol.
