This took me awhile to edit this video but I had so much fun making the animations/8-bit characters. My favorite is the Liquid glass. We'll call her "Liq".
Really cool animations. Which software or app do you use for editing videos and for animations please? Thanks
Keep posting need in depth lectures … very much appreciated.
The animations were awesome and on-point. This is the best, simplest overview of Shopify Liquid that I've seen and I'll definitely be passing it along to those who are new to the platform. Nice work!
Thanks for the beginners friendly tutorial. Really liked the way of explanation.
hats off man, you explained so simply...thanks man! appreciate....

I love it. I loved the animation and the way you described everything man you are my superhero
Thank you Mohamed! Glad to be such a help. 🙏
Well done 👍
Awesome video! Thank you, so much for taking the time to make this content, I learned alot from this short video. I been trying to find some content across the web from someone that could break liquid down for me to understand and from your short video and now I know the general concept of what's going on, thank you! 🙏
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching until the end ☺️
@@WeeklyHow Absolutely, you're an amazing teacher! I actually went ahead and bought your Shopify course on Udemy right after I wrote that message. Lol, I'm in the middle of building my first tailwind and alpine single application and after that I'll be diving into your course and going all the way in! 😁🙌
Hi, thank you for this informative video❤ what about when "disallow" comes up in the coding, how do you get rid of it? Thanks in advance :)
Great video. I love the animations great job.
Thank you Emmanuel! I appreciate it.
I've been programming (self taught) 1 year now with JavaScript, 2 months of PHP & 2 months of React. Sounds like Shoppify liquid is shopifies own programming language. But from the way you describe liquid it's similar to most programming languages, but the structure of how you write your code sounds so much different from php and javascript.
I've been considering freelance or even shopify for my own business, but never did any type of freelance work or any type of e commerce jobs. What would be the best way to get started? Most of my experience is on the client side with javascript. Thank you.
Hey there, Glad to discover your channel.
I am a newbie at shopify development with a simple enquiry.
Is there any community or forum through which i can network with like-mind programmers and
where i can ask technical questions related to my coding in shopify.
Thanks for any recommendations.
lovely animations.
keep it up.
Thank you Avaneesh! Happy that you enjoyed them. 🙏
Is it like a template or framework similar to React, Vue or Angular. And uses Shopify API?
loved it
Thank you Anwaar 🙌
cool vídeo tks
Can you do a video on how to make the side bar menu sticky? All I can find is making the header sticky.
amazing animations :D
Thank you Bia!
dude really one, im myself a JS dev and wanted to know how o approach liquid, and that is exactly what I needed not to deep, but basics.
where is the styling CSS?
I probably start with Hydrogen though as you said to not be locked in shopify environment.
Did you build anything with Hydrogen(remix) yet ?
I'd be interested about time wise what would be the fastest at equal knowledge of both what would be the fastest?
and one more question isn't possible to write code directly in pure JS/html within shopify environment ?
THANKS
Can you explain how work Shopify objects in detail?
Thank you for the video. it's not a lot info and video about shopify liquid😔
Perfecto. Puedo usar los subtitulos sin problemas.
is jekyll liquid and shopify liquid the same thing?
Sir, Shopify CLI now added PHP(Laravel) option for app development. Hoping your videos will out soon laravel app dev with Shopify CLI.
Thanks for informing me Ajay! I'll work on this as soon as I can
Just seeing this now, pretty cool animations, and they look like the new theme documentation styles!! :-)
Did you create them yourself or did you hire a designer?
Would probably be a good idea to update my old liquid video too at one point lol.
Haha, thanks Jan! Funnily no, I did everything myself. It took a lot of time but it was fun and yeah, the new documentation of Shopify was the inspiration. Cool stuff.
@@WeeklyHow wow not bad, chapeau 😃👍👍
Certainly a new skill on the list.
Have a good Monday
Minimal coding background. The animations made it so much easier to understand! :)
Ehh, it really miss array operating/filters. 😪
so tags are variables and filter are methods?
Close, but tags are not variables. They more like a statement to define logics (like if statements, looping statements, etc). I would put objects to be somewhat close to variables since they/they can hold values.
I think transformers would be a better fitting name than filters
Ginga syntax
