The combo freedom in this patch is amazing.
You can use SSJ Vegeta for the Baby combo, and Janemba A only on like smaller characters like Krillin. It’s under Tailos post about the baby combo

Teen gohan jM actually has enough hitstun to jump DR I think. Some of those bombs took 24 frames to connect and still landed with stun to spare from what I could see

The buffs to bardock lariats really helped his damage and meter gain especially. Just need help opening the opponent lol

This game evolved just like the Dragon Ball franchise, it started with a low power level with high focus on combat. Z was a morte powerfull but with a balanced focus on combat. Super said fuck it, everyone is hella broken with crazy combat, have fun

To actually feel like a dragon ball game, one side would randomly do no damage until the end of the fight and then oneshot the entire enemy team with a single special.
As some who agrees with you on the state of the game I came back just to casually play after this patch and I've been really enjoying bardock. So I recommend just playing to enjoy as a casual :) 😊

I know this is probably the worst patch for competitive play. But as someone who’s favorite franchise is Dragon Ball. I get a kick out of these changes as a dragon ball fan. Man when I saw SSJ Goku Could Level ons into level one into ssj 3 i heard the classic Funimation English dub score and Sean’s screaming. Or UI Goku Zamasu was another one I really liked to look at, Base Goku is silly, and tbh. Even the fusions are sick on anchor. Man when I TOD a broly with anchor Blue Gogeta and recreated the last 20 minutes of the movie I knew. I just knew that this … is my favorite 2d fighter of all time, my 7th favorite game of all time, and my 2nd favorite Dragon ball Game.
Nah, not at all. If Marvel can exist competitively, which is even crazier, then so can DBFZ

Being serious here, it's okay to say the game's not for you. I have zero interest in Minecraft and I'll never be interested in it, but I don't think it's a bad game at all. You can do sick shit in that game.
And a lot of people are not only playing the game again, there are people who are showing interest in it when they were never interested in it before, so if the game was "ruined" then that wouldn't be the case.
