This song combines everything I've ever liked in the past ten years. From concepts to the cosmos, to the eerieness, guitars, and lengths of Pink Floyd, to the melancholy of Radiohead, to the dreamsphere and colors of vaporwave, to the kindness of lo-fi and the sweetness and love from indie. The warm hug of piano, the percussion dancing. The comforting vocals. It feels like it fits in my life. A culmination of my favorite things about music. It made me misty-eyed. It's wonderful.
But this is also the most complex composition, the musical techniques are all experimental and yet a flex on them making that experiment of chords work.. the lyrics are perfect.. for our world and meant for humanity

Interesting I never thought about this song in relation to that of Bohemian Rhapsody and I completely agree. What makes it similar I feel is the out of body experience it tries to exhibit. I love songs that make you sing and look outside of yourself at the vast idea of life and what it all means. It has a bit of existentialism but also an acceptance of humanity and what it means to be human always searching for answers from beyond us.

I’ve spent the last 1 week or so listening to this song every night, crying, missing my mom who’s up there in heaven. I’m not sure if I can relate to the lyrics but damn the feelssss it’s like being elevated to wherever heaven is. Such a beautiful song. I hope I can hug my mom in my dream tonight.
Speechless. When you thought you heard everything in this journey called life, Coldplay just delivered a whole new experience beyond our understanding.
I'm a full grown man with a patchy beard and I just cried to this song... I... How did you manage to create such a masterpiece? And on this album? Damn! Props to you Coldplay, I don't cry easy.
This song is an excellent combination from X&Y's era, a little from "Death all his friends" and "Ghost Stories era". One of the best songs in last years...
Ghost Stories, for sure. I feel like a lot of old school Parachutes fans gave up on the lads after Ghost Stories, which is a shame because that album has some truly great moments on it. This song clearly has that moody, spiritual vibe that defines most of that album.
Lost my Father to covid. This song makes me feel like I'm closer to him in the universe. Like I can hear him through this. You've been my band since high school. And will forever be my band in the next life.
this song doesn't deserve to be on this album, it's out of this world, the only song in this album that actually managed to live up to the idea of music of the spheres, at least Moon Music didn't fail on this. I'm happy that Coldplay are back!
To me this speaks to me on many levels, reconnecting with people who I have lost and will reconnect with at the end of life, that our lives will continue in some way like stars of the universe. It is like we are all colourful lights and stars of a continuing universe that is so profound and deep and in a spatial time we can’t comprehend. Very interstellarish. The best music by Coldplay so far in my humble opinion. Hopeful, uplifting, celebration of life, the universe and deep connection of love between people you have loved and lost but still live on through the stars and our turn will come when we join them at the end of our time on this precious special planet called Earth. I could go on. I hope I am not the only one who feels these feelings/thoughts from this mesmerising music.
This is why I love bands like Coldplay, Pink Floyd, and Nightwish (them being my favorite band of all time). Their music are works of art and they are the masters of storytelling through music.
@@Lauren_210I personally disagree with putting Coldplay’s in the same bracket as Pink Floyd even though I like Coldplay music It’s a bit of a stretch to say most of their songs are works of art but I guess everyone musical taste is different.
I dunno why I started crying at 9:30 after being mesmerised the whole way through. Everything about this piece is incredible. This is not just music. This is SOUL music. Loved the song before watching this MV. The MV to me felt like I was looking at humans’ true form, we are not the flesh our soul lives in. We are the Heaven, once our physical body perish, that’s where we will go, it’s where we come from. Possibly one of Coldplay’s best songs in my humble opinion.
It´s like every Coldplay Era in one song. If there would be a last Coldplay song i would ever hear, this will be it. Thank you Coldplay. Thank you for everything you gave to us!
One of the all time greatest songs ever. Probably that ever will be. So much love . So clearly..That line: 'its the end of death and doubt' hits so hard
Looks like they played this in the first leg in Central America. From North America onward, they cut this song out. I went to their Santa Clara and Chicago shows in May 2022.
Aristotle said: “The music is heavenly, the divine nature and of such beauty that enchants the soul and raises it above his condition.” Coldplay is always making this sentence come true!
I was HOPING that this song would be released alittle early before the albums out because I liked it from the trailer. And I wonder if any of you Coldplay fans in the comments also asked for this to be the next single? I sure did because I liked the piano and the theme of the Albums artwork as well. And Music Of the Spheres is probably gonna be praised and very Successful when it comes out October 2021.
I dont't know why I'm crying, I needed to. It's like if my soul needs this kind of magic and color and hope. I'm in the middle of the night, sending a wish to the universe, I want magic and freedom in my life. Thank you Coldplay for setting me free at least in my mind. 💙
05:37 has me extremely emotional. Like feeling childhood wonder all over again but with the capacity to look back on the vastness of the universe and ones life in equal measure. Just astounding.
This is an absolutly stunning masterpiece :'). A Gravity + Imagine + Moving To Mars + Pink Floyd odyssey. An incredible well made enviroment. An instant hymn. We're so happy that we're alive at the same time as you, Coldplay x'3
@@hansolo6101 The piano is basically "Hypnothized" merged with "Daddy are out there?", YEAH I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT THAT THIS WHOLE ALBUM IS LIKE EXTENDING "MOVING TO MARS" TO AN ENTIRE PERFECT ALBUM, and voilá here you are!
Now this is the Coldplay I fell in love with back in 1999 ....This is a Masterpiece ....lyrical brilliance melodic beauty so much complexity yet delivered with such sombre simplicity....This is truly what makes Coldplay the genius collaborative ensemble that they are....👌
What an absolute masterpiece!!! Stunning, atmospheric, haunting and beautiful song. How anyone could not be blown away by this ? Thankyou Chris and the boys!!
It’s like they reinvented Gravity, mixed it with Moving to Mars, added some of that 5/4 time signature a la Aliens in the bridge, with pinches of Lennon and Bowie, and created a freaking cinematic space epic masterpiece. This is one of the best things they’ve composed.
The best and most interesting song of you in the last 5 years, at least. This kind of music is the reason why I became a fan of you guys. Please keep on going this way. Thank you for the trip, what a beautiful experience.
This video is such a journey. Please put your headphones on, lay on your bed at night, and enjoy the ride. The visuals are stuningly relaxing and beautiful, and the song is one of Coldplay’s best masterpieces. In some years, people will be calling this song as Coldplay’s bohemian rhapsody.
There is a particular feature of this song, which is like life. When you think it's over, start over. And when it really ends, it's never really an end.
This is the closest they've got to their glorious era. This song is a masterpiece. I would never have thought I'd be hearing a prog song from Coldplay, this is like an epic. If this is the new path they're taking, count me in (this is coming from a huge fan of Coldplay from their first 2~3 albums)
This is why I fell in love with Coldplay. Chris’s beautiful piano. Johnny with his spacey stadium riffs, then of course the haunting lyrics and voice. I mean peak Coldplay.
Coldplay makes me humble when I derail from my true feelings and emotions. Thank you Coldplay. Your lyrics go far beyond the perceptual feeling eyes and ears.
Coloratura is an absolute masterpiece. I hear it and tears well up in my eyes. Coldplay is and remains the best band in the world. Thank you so much. Coldplay, I love you forever
I'm speechless. Just speechless. Got goosebumps the entire song, I just can't believe I would hear new songs like this in my lifetime. I thought the time of well worked songs was long past and I'm so happy I was wrong. Thank you so much for that.

I hope you never give up, and always keep fighting just one more time.

Keep spreading love and peace. Evil is alone. Love is shared
Pink Floyd meets David Bowie meets Coldplay and we LOVE TO SEE IT!!!! Please we need more of this.
Sorry for your loss 🥺, keep strong 💪 sending love and big hug 💜
Sorry for your loss. Your mom is always with you. 🤗
Your mom is very proud of you I’m sure
Hmmm
Bless you, I think about my Dad when I listen to this song.. He would have absolutely loved it.
Coldplay welcomes us with all the love there is, it is so unique, sentimental but also familiar.
❤
They don’t make music to make music. They make music to calm our souls.
You got it
Very soothing and relaxing 😎
Speechless. When you thought you heard everything in this journey called life, Coldplay just delivered a whole new experience beyond our understanding.

The healing power I get from this band. It's incredible

I felt the same!
The same feeling
The same felling men
Makes even more sense since they announced they will retire in 2025
To me this speaks to me on many levels, reconnecting with people who I have lost and will reconnect with at the end of life, that our lives will continue in some way like stars of the universe.

Pink Floyd has to be an influence to this song. So beautiful :’(
Why Pink Floyd?
@@trinity.channel Because It Is Has Prog Influences
This is not a song. It's an experience.
This is why I love bands like Coldplay, Pink Floyd, and Nightwish (them being my favorite band of all time). Their music are works of art and they are the masters of storytelling through music.
Amen

I dunno why I started crying at 9:30 after being mesmerised the whole way through. Everything about this piece is incredible. This is not just music. This is SOUL music. Loved the song before watching this MV. The MV to me felt like I was looking at humans’ true form, we are not the flesh our soul lives in. We are the Heaven, once our physical body perish, that’s where we will go, it’s where we come from. Possibly one of Coldplay’s best songs in my humble opinion.

One of the all time greatest songs ever. Probably that ever will be. So much love . So clearly..That line: 'its the end of death and doubt' hits so hard
Still can't believe that they aren't playing this song in the tour. It is THE best song of the entire album and it makes me sad not hearing it live.
Looks like they played this in the first leg in Central America. From North America onward, they cut this song out. I went to their Santa Clara and Chicago shows in May 2022.
They played in the last concert of Mexico City, I got very lucky.
They should play it absolutely and Jonny has to tune the guitar at the solo….

Exactly the same. As soon as I heard it in the trailer, I knew it would be the best song on the album.
I dont't know why I'm crying, I needed to. It's like if my soul needs this kind of magic and color and hope. I'm in the middle of the night, sending a wish to the universe, I want magic and freedom in my life. Thank you Coldplay for setting me free at least in my mind.

My Universe probably will get all the hype just because of BTS, but Coloratura, this will be last an eternity. absolute masterpiece from Coldplay.

I like this song indeed much more than My Universe. This song is very layered, feels 'cinematic' and brings me to calmness and wonder.
If my universe’s popularity means more people get to witness coloratura. Then so be it.
Honestly my universe is too hyped!
I wish this one got more views. This songs is the true beauty of Coldplay again. Just my opinion!
This is an absolutly stunning masterpiece :'). A Gravity + Imagine + Moving To Mars + Pink Floyd odyssey. An incredible well made enviroment. An instant hymn. We're so happy that we're alive at the same time as you, Coldplay x'3
