Edit: I just realized that most of these comments are from 2019 instead of just me responding to old comments so for a little background...
Feliks zemdegs is a professional speedcuber who uses the cfop method to solve 3x3 Rubik's cubes at record speed but can also do 2 x 2's all the way up to 7 x 7 but is most well known for his performance in 3 x 3 getting singles world records many times and being extremely consistent and gets average world records often as well

Feliks, you’re so shy and humble. You don’t even hold your GoPro like a Vlog camera like any other guy would, which I can only assume is because you don’t want to seem braggadocios in front of competitors. It is rare to see ppl nowadays that have a talent like you, that aren’t quick to share it with a lot of boasting. Meanwhile, holding a camera up to their face and talking to it nonstop. I commend you for your wholesomeness. You are naturally a genuinely keen person at heart and it is quite obvious to any onlooker. Keep up your amazing work and good luck to you in your future endeavors. Here’s to Feliks! Cheers!!

Although finger speed is important, most important secret to do this is LOOKING AHEAD, that's the secret, when he is Inspecting, he's really looking where's every piece placed, first cross, and pairs for first 2 layers and place face up the better lay fot that movements.
That's how to solve half cube in 2 seconds, while others are trying to do a cross, making movements on your mind, you'll be better as much steps ahead you can hold
