More backstory on UMK3 not sure if ur playing the arcade version on this. The faithful arcade port was for the Saturn. Had the very same graphics of the characters including their large size just a shade down on the background which if you take the graveyard scene on both u can see the saturn background just a tad compressed either way super close would say 90% on the graphics compsrison but. The music was completely midi down and didn't even match the stage music of the arcade. Why? I have no idea saturn has the very same cd space as the psx. This brings us to the sega genesis & SNES versions. Somehow im not sure why but they seem a lil different from the arcade. For one no hidden characters except HUMAN SMOKE which is unlockable holding some buttons down before the fight starts when you use cyber smoke. They decided to completely take sheeva out of the sega genesis & snes versions but give us Rain & noob saibot instead with all of their moves but no finishers except the babality & brutality. But while dummied down all stage music is there but no graveyard stage. Which was alsoo absent on the snes & genesis versions of mk3 but was on the psx version. Truthfully the sega & snes versions are the best true no sheeva but human smoke (with his fatalities) and rain & noob being there feels more complete than the arcade & saturn versions. MK trilogy was a disaster on the n64. Im a huge fan of the console but my god it really did not feel like mk trilogy. It felt more like an upgraded version of umk3. No goro, no kintaro, chameleon is all the female characters in one and not the ninjas on the psx & pc versions, and no unlockable classic mk characters like in the psx & pc & the later saturn version of trilogy. (Which was a very perfect pirt of the psx version which was done in complaint of the saturn version of umk3). Midway looked like UMK3 was rushed on the saturn. But a bit more carefully done on the sega genesis & SNES versions as that was the final.mk game on those consoles so i wonder if thats why they put a lil more tlc on those versions. I feel like TRILOGY was a true psx game and they rushed the n64 version to be avail by launch and not really work on it. But they def more than made up for it on mk4 for the n64. Nearly perfect arcade graphics (if only they had a crack at the expansion pack to make it arcade perfect) all of the ending cutscenes of the arcade in tact and the game just looked & played much better than the psx version but the psx verdion hsd the cgi cutscenes

It's crazy how many versions of MK3 there were.
Two?
I’m not sure if you’re aware but with Motaro you could actually beat the whole game stupidly easy by simply spamming the punch button make sure you can get your opponent in the corner while you punch him to it and that’s all there is to it….. until you get to Shao Kahn that is lol the strategy there is when he goes for the charge move make sure you have enough distance so you don’t get hit then counter with the punch
Fun fact .. watching your videos made me play my MK collection again. Just subscribed
Thank you and I’m glad it made you wanna go back and play these games lol
I have been a MK fan since I was three. Believe it or not, Sub-Zero mythologies was the first MK game I played and beat (we had a guide book). All that to say, your videos are amazing. I have never seen all the endings of every character in MK but it’s so entertaining to watch and learn. I appreciate the time and effort and look forward to watching more of your videos!
You forgot Shaolin Monks when you was naming
